This one https://myanimelist.net/anime/39523/Choujin_Koukousei-tachi_wa_Isekai_demo_Yoyuu_de_Ikinuku_you_desu from what i've seen it's not great, but compared to some of the other shit he listed, it's not bad. The animation is relatively decent, nothing to write home about. The story, while very standard in most isekai with overpowered characters, isn't terrible but nothing impressive. Literally the only reason he doesn't like it, is like Inquisitor said, because the characters decided to implement capitalism instead of some other economic system in a fantasy world.
Because communism would turn a fantasy world into a giant utopia instead of a dystopian, racist hellhole that would make 1984 and Brave New World look like paradise. Also, Maou Maou Yuusha did the same thing minus isekai. F- in economics for Geoff.

That's the bit i found pretty funny. It's like he tried to think of a good defense, but couldn't think of one so he went for a redundant answer of "It's a tv show"
Maybe he's talking about an OVA? It'd be helpful to know the show he's complaining about to determine whether this complaint is bullshit or not. There are quite a few scenarios I can think of where introducing characters with name tags would be perfectly valid, especially if its an ensemble cast, and some where it would be a sign of bad character design or not introducing characters properly.

I've tried looking to see what anime he's talking about, he never actually says the name of the anime. Unless he's talking about Plunderer but he says the anime he is talking about is a mobile game adaptation, and Plunderer isn't. The only mobile game adaptation that aired this season was Magia Record but aired on Jan 3rd, not the 7th.
After a quick google search of both, my money is on Magia Record. It looks like all the main characters have very distinct designs in Plunderer. You would have to be special needs to get confused by them, which for all his other problems, Geoff isn't.
