so, given they've been on a deleting spree and the SA Encyclopedia is pretttty hard to back up due to needing authentication... and there's an awffulll lot of entries (2226 as of today).... so I decided to automate it!!!!!

this is a complete rip of the SA Enclyclopedia as of 2020-01-08 and it comes in two great flavors, HTML files that embed the image rips as base64 for easy viewing in the browser, and PNGs that are gonna be a lot easier for mobile users to handle

I even used a custom style sheet to cut off superfluous bits and apply a dark theme so you wont be blinded from browsing this museum of autism

some entries are funny, most are lame, and some are so lame they're funny, and of course there's a lot of PROBLEMATIC stuff spread everywhere, even after some of the recent deletions

Anyone who still posts on the Something Awful forums is a nazi. The moderator crew has proven to be littered with Nazis and child molesters. The site owner himself admitted his "FYAD" forum has been a hub for white supremacists and that irony is not a valid excuse. The site history on display in this thread shows countless examples of bigoted content. Worst of all, the site charges money for an account and runs ads. They are actually profiting from Nazism and anyone who posts there is helping them do it. The site should be de-indexed from search engines in my opinion. This is the only way to protect innocent children from the spread of hate speech.

They've been slowly purging SAclopedia for at least a year now. Posters in this thread periodically notice and point it out. Good call on backing it up but just noting that there's still a lot missing in the current iteration compared to what used to be on there. If there's any glaring holes in it, maybe we can fill in the blanks.

Someone should make a script to back up all of the Comedy Goldmine, Helldump Goldmine and FYAD Goldmine threads, I have a strong feeling they will be the next to be purged. At this point most of the topics are full of wrongthink and a graveyard of permabanned posters. There's actually content of value in there in terms of history, messing with goons, and threads that are still relevantly funny from ye days of olde. Sans the treads killed by waffleimages. @OwO What's This? maybe?
