"If you guys have new emotes, please show them off!"

"No one got anything? Are you serious? Nobody got emotes? So you guys didn't get them, huh? I don't know, it's supposed to be a brand new things."

"I guess we'll see in 2 minutes. Let's wait and play the first stage of the game." What exactly is the focus of this stream, Phil?

EDIT: "FuckTheHypeTrain tipped and said fuck the hype train, go back to tips."
"Well that's right, tipping helps me more than anything right now."
Jesus fucking Christ.

whatever total dave got, was specifically set by him

"The support threshold required to kick off a Hype Train is customized by your streamer."

total: 27,728

edit: he can only have 1 per hour, says he didn't want people to cheer the entire stream and he "wouldn't like that", however the 1hr limit is hard coded by twitch

I hope someone keeps track of the required amount to finish his shitty hype train

first train was 27,728 bits to complete the entire thing, and get ONE EMOTE

I expect him to increase the amount secretly

edit: still begging for tips after getting $300 in bits

Ok. Hype train is done, and here's the deal:

1) There are a max of 5 levels, at least right now.
2) Phil has it set so only 1 hype train per hour can be done.
3) The levels are "met" by either subs (gifted or just normal subbing) and cheers. The cheering is measured by number of bits.
4) Only people who participate in the "hype train" get the emote.
5) ONLY ONE EMOTE IS GIVEN OUT. The emote is apparently determined by what level is reached before time runs out.

Phil is already downplaying the "hype train" as "not that interesting". Presumably because he already realizes that it's going to cut into his tips.

initiation phase is set by the streamer

total bits to reach each tier is set by the streamer

the 1hr limit is the lowest setting offered by twitch, which just shows how greedy he is

edit: he's really trying to take credit for setting the hype train to happen once an hour, saying he doesn't want it to derail the stream, it's the fucking lowest setting available

He's not acknowledging any of these cheers.

It's incredible what the common idiot will waste their money on.

If you're talking about the ones on-screen, that's delay from streamlabs. He was full clown mode during the hype train calling them all out.

Special shoutout to these 2 simps, who provided about 66% of the total bits:

creepyspaghetti2147 cheered [12] times: $123.43 (avg. cheer of $10.29; 39.44% of total)
blankvisage cheered [3] times: $67.00 (avg. cheer of $22.33; 21.41% of total)

Interesting, because Phil said he just set it to 1 hour so that it didn't get out of control.
What a saint, setting it to the minimum and then framing it like it is a substantial delay.

He's already shitting on the hype train. "It'll probably never happen again." I wouldn't be surprised if he disables it to get more tips.

Edit: He literally thanked those who tipped tonight because "those help me more".

Edit 2: "Participating viewers can earn 1 emote per Hype Train. Participants who have collected all emotes from the current level and all levels below will not receive an emote." FUCKING LOL.

Edit 3: "No. Hype Train emotes will be refreshed with a new theme every few months to keep things interesting. At the time of refresh, previous participants will get to keep a subset of the emotes they collected from previous trains based on popularity." It's the same thing as Phil's "Name my Minecraft shit".

Earlier, noted paypig Snakeater commented that the hype train wasn't that great and that he was leaving.
Phil apologized that the hype train was so crappy... after relentlessly praising it and wanting chat to 'show off the emotes to everyone'.
Snakeater clarified that he didn't mean to sound angry, and that he was just leaving because he had to work early.
Phil backpedaled and said "Okay, thanks for coming out. The hype train was weird."
I think this may be the "shill circus" Phil warned us about. Use it for easy money once, and then back to tips.

Well this is interesting... Phil just commented that he couldn't get a hold of Rambo if he tried - the number he has for Rambo is no longer active.
Now, how would he know that unless he tried to contact Rambo on that number relatively recently, or at least after their last supposed contact when Rambo said he was waiting for the call?
Methinks Phil hit the gin and tried to call Rambo to confess the love that dare not speak its name...

He's almost certainly lying. He's lazy and undoubtedly hasn't tried to contact Rambo in a few years.

Edit: He's also died several times on fucking World 2-1 because he insists on trying to 100% each stage, even though he's not actually done it on multiple stages already. Oh, and we're getting a story about him taking a big shit, because he's a mature adult streamer.

He has talked about shitting multiple times tonight.
Earlier he commented that he missed recording for Youtube and elaborately described how he could shit whenever he wanted, and how now he needs to struggle while 'turds ferment in my guts for 2-3 hours'. They were painful when they came out.
Towards the end here, he commented on how bad he had to shit during that Mario Maker stream he went overtime on last year, and how he came back and beat it the first try the next day, presumably because the shit was no longer restricting his faculties.

He went in after and 'shat a ginormous storm of monstrous doo-doo.' That is a direct quote from a supposed mature, adult streamer.

I think he really doesn't get that adults can, for the most part, control the timing of their bowel movements so they don't have to immediately shit during something they have scheduled. At this point, he might have an incontinence issue. Or an actual fetish.

He's almost certainly lying. He's lazy and undoubtedly hasn't tried to contact Rambo in a few years.
That's true. The lie is the ever-present "Option B".

EDIT: "Thank you to those who tipped me tonight. Obviously it's a lot lower, probably because of the hype train."
Thank you, Phil, for explicitly pointing out that people apparently can't just throw $400 at you via every contribution avenue, every single stream.

This is the kind of shit that validates the notion that Twitch is a net detriment on civilization
I know. I read shit like that Twitch note, and I'm just dumbfounded. I guess I'm a boomer, this cultural acceptance of giving people money for playing video games or merely babbling to a camera doesn't register in my head.

HE CALLED THE TIPS LOW. This fat fuck got $300+ in cheers and is complaining that the tips are low.
It's like I've said before he legit doesn't consider anything besides tips as something that matters. He could get 1000 subs and $10000 in cheers the same day but if he only has $15/$100 in tips it was a slow day. We saw the E7 fiasco lol he gave no fucks about all those Tier 3 subs and pretended they didn't exist.

He must have hit himself with his own pignosis when he looked in a mirror because he seriously only thinks tip matter. Probably because all of the cheers/subs are 100% automatically going to bills while he can pull out the tips from paypal every day until he is off and use them. I wouldn't doubt every single day before he goes to sleep he withdraws all of his tips to his rainy day account or w/e fun money account he has.
