A thought that occurred to me is if these stunning and brave warriors of body positivity are so caring about other fatties and so medically well versed, why don't they go volunteer at a local hospital?

Hell, they could get a job! There are a few hospitals out there that hire full-time 1:1 sitters for suicidal/homicidal/fall risk patients rather than pulling RNs or CNAs off of the floor. Of course, you're not allowed to use your phone or read or do anything else distracting, so your options for your 12 hour shift are staring at the patient or talking to them. Perfect job.

If the patient wasn't suicidal before, they probably will be along about hour eight of the lecture explaining how furniture is a colonialist oppressor.

I've gotten pulled off the floor for that exact thing a few times. It wasn't awful, but goddamn does time go by slowly when you're not actually working. The only time I truly got salty about it is when I got pulled into the room of a patient who very clearly wasn't suicidal, and only said something along the lines of, "I'd rather kill myself than do [ ]."

Aretha was diabetic and had pancreatic cancer , both consequences of her struggle with obesity. The cancer killed her, but she did try to get healthier, and she lost weight after finding out she had the beetus. Lipids probably doesn't look up to that.

Also, the way Livid fatass chose to display those ugly shoes. Most of us would have taken the photo of just the shoes in any angle either on our feet or not. This wildebeest chose that pose with her pendulous gunt hanging like a sack of suet. She does this shit on purpose!

Oh yeah, Lizzo is definitely the thing right now because she's still young and appears to be relatively "healthy." The vicious, predictable FA cycle of "throw them out and on to the next" won't affect her until she starts looking sickly and/or creeps close to 40. I always enjoy FA's insanely hypocritical ageism and ableism for the cause.

Sod boot camp, put them on tread mills attached to the electrical grid and make them create some beautiful electricity for us all. There would be a requirement to produce some amount that would equate to say a good marathon run to generate and only allow them regulated meals. Also after reaching target rates they would be required to carry on for the time it takes to repay all the years they have mooched off tax payers.

Honestly the term pre-diabetes just needs to go away. It makes people feel safe that they don't yet have frank diabetes, but pre-diabetes causes organ damage as well. If you're pre-diabetic for long enough you can eventually end up with diabetic retinopathy/neuropathy just like the "real" diabetics.

It should be an indication to patients that they need to make lifestyle changes in order to prevent it from developing into type 2 diabetes but instead everyone assumes they're okay since it's only pre-diabetes.
