I have no idea how I remembered this, but Phil was thinking about mobile game coverage during Hearthstone. Also includes some lore on Supercard.

As an added bonus, not unlike Kat appearing on streams and helping with DSP Tries It, Phil was going to quit mobile games for her. Because he enjoyed spending time with her so much. I guess the potatoes came between them.

This addict language, too. 'This is getting out of hand... I'll quit when she moves in.' Why not quit now?
'I'll keep them on my phone, just in case I have downtime where I have nothing else to do.' Common practice for alcoholics to keep a handle of gin in the house just in case there is a slow night. Real healthy.

he should be logging in within the next 4hrs to collect/do daily shit, anyone this much of a whale can't resist staying away for longer than 24hrs, plus the daily log in rewards

edit: found a 2yr old post that says the server reset is 7pm pacific time, which means he could've done today's daily missions last night, his last in game appearance was around 4hrs after reset

Phil does seem to have a weird thing about his handle, though. He'll shoehorn it into games; in RPGs he is DSP instead of even Phil. When he plays online games where he can pick a name, he could possibly delay some trolling by not naming himself DarkSydePhil, but he does it every time anyway. Someone said earlier, and I think they were right, that he also used it for his Brazzers account, which is how it was found.

He shrieks at his fans for not using the same name everywhere, but it's something he does religiously, even for embarrassing things he doesn't want people to find. TheyCallMeDSP and DSPGaming seem to be his acceptable alts.

He's walking a fine line right now. If the account logs in at appropriate times for Phil, it's likely him. If it never logs in again after today, it's definitely Phil. Let's see what we get.

He knows. The Discord profile being deleted/changing the handle is solid proof of that.

I'd say that that is very strong evidence that it really is Phil. It's also strong evidence that he checks on Kiwi Farms' posts before firing up a stream, since he did that before his first stream of the day AFAIK.

I think his idea was to build a brand. By using the name everywhere, he could build brand recognition, make himself something of a household name. Unlike Markiplier, Pewdiepie, Totalbiscuit, or any other successful gamer (or business, or celebrity, or...), however, Phil knows nothing about controlling that brand's perception. Hence why he uses it for everything, including for things that would hurt people's perception of him (such as the Brazzers account). That's why the name "DarkSydePhil" is synonymous with failure.
Of course, if Phil had an ounce of common sense, he wouldn't have an entire subforum dedicated to him here.

Pure speculation of course, but I don't think Kat prevents DSP from watching wrestling.

What I think is more likely is that Kat says that she doesn't like wrestling and DSP is the kind of person that takes it as a personal insult to his character when someone doesn't like the same things they like.
