Most autistic thing you've purchased lately - c'mon feel the cringe

That's not autistic thats just smart. Those prices are great. I've bought cows with friends in the past and our price per pound of beef came out to not much less after the butcher was done

This is all local, so it's pretty much barely over cost. This place often has loss-leaders on one of these at a time but for some reason opened the new year with a ridiculous number of super good deals.

I finished restoring the piece! I ended up stripping with a TSP solution and restored the finish by handwaxing with a high quality beeswax paste.

Title says autistic thing, not based antique piece taken apart, shined and restored. Something like a side nail filer for reaching underneath the side of your toenails, because that's what I got recently.

The amount of time I spent on this was pretty tistic. I went pretty nuts researching and working on it. I guess maybe if isn’t tism if it has a tangible result?

Well it's certainly more useful than the side nail filer I brought, used once, then never again.

Not terribly recently, but I had a screw for one of the ceiling fan blades in my room go missing on me, so I couldn't really turn the fan on (it's one of those that connects to the motor). I bought a set of screws for a completely different ceiling fan off of Amazon and tried putting one of those on. Needless to say, that didn't quite work out well. Eventually the original screw was found in one of my slippers (somehow it had fallen in there), so I slapped it back on and the fan is usable again. I still have that other set of screws.
