This is actually not a bad idea. Personalities have a food-truck like deal where they pull into a parking lot and spread out the meet & greet for "parkinglot" cons. I'm not sure Anime if the right kind of con for this. But I don't think its all that crazy.

If their win condition is winning the court case at the expense of reputation, earning potential and respectability then congratulations on their win. Hopefully for them the appeals process won’t take their hollow victory away.
