Weeb Wars / AnimeGate / #KickVic / #IStandWithVic / #vickicksback - General Discussion Thread

The unfortunate reality is that Vic's con work will taper off at some point. I would like this trial to move forward so Vic can take the cash and move on. Maybe run his own studio or something if he wins against Funi (he ain't getting shit from anyone else).
And remember: The only people who think it's about money are the defendants. Vic isn't hurting for money. He's just under the paranoid delusion, one I think we all share, that "maybe, just maybe life would be better if mad hoes didn't call him a rapist and a pedophile all the time."

Crazy, I know.
The new twist is “but look most of the people aren’t teenage female fans”

So salty, I need a drink of wahter
2. Their best possible cherry-pick still-frame still has at least 2 women in it! And one of them's brown! Does KV not see brown women as women? Something something pikachu.

They think somehow that white knighting will hide their fedora and shave off their neckbeard, which can never be erased.

They think that acting subservient towards women makes them more desirable. This whole championing women's rights thing is the sign of a weak male that will snap if given the right environment.

And I'm not saying enslave the women and take away their rights. I'm saying that anyone living in a first world country that is not influenced heavily by an oppressive religious movement needs to shut the fuck up about gender equality and do something productive with that energy.

It was a "damned if you do" kinda thing. They actually could've more easily sold the "only men" narrative with a later still frame, but then it'd be nearly impossible to sell the "nobody there" narrative, since the still shown is the end of the line and includes dead space after the last person.

So... would trying to get a cop fired from his job, essentially crossing the line as a matter of public concern? Cause Manjaw is essentially trying to get a cop to lose his job, for essentially putting her in her place. I feel this is something one could notify the authorities or something.

Also the additional fact that what the person wrote is not what she is saying it is.

Somewhat unrelated, but... the REAL scandal at Ohayocon:

Some shit artist/vendor busybody (furry, "non binary" and so on) recording people who wear "ahegao shirts" and putting the vid on Twitter for asspats. I wonder if Ohayocon is OK with their "vendors" recording non consenting customers. And since like 100% of the "SJW weebs" are face blind autists, it wasn't even an ahegao shirt (more like smug/sadistic Toga Himiko faces), but some parody with art from the "Boku no hero no academia" manga. I wonder how long until people lose their jobs because speds didn't like that they wore some goofy attire during an anime convention. I wonder if KV and their orbiters dislike Vic so much because he appropriates their culture with his gay attire.

No harm there, at least. Just cringey that they're doing that, with apparently some implication that ahegao shirts are somehow wrong or against the rules (they're probably not, but keep an eye out for that crap in 2020.)

What's more telling is: A so-called "vendor" sees highly popular apparel, and doesn't immediately think "gee, maybe I should be selling these."

Most cons have a "don't record or photograph people without their permission" rule, it's supposed to stop creepers and "slut shamers" but either way it's not a good idea as a vendor to openly break rules and shame attendees on twitter.

I'll leave policing candid photos and videos to the outrage mob. If they're not following people around and harassing them, I personally don't care. I don't see how you take any pictures, selfies, or videos at a con at all without catching somebody in the background. But that's just me.

Either way, clearly this person is shit at business. And the penalty for eternal wokeness is eternal brokeness. Dude can choke on it.

EDIT: and a coward, to boot. Waits until people have their backs turned to go "get a load of this guy," and then bravely uploads to twitter.

I was about to write "leave some pussy for the rest of us," but... you may wanna hide your children for this one:

I'd say tweet at them and explain who that fucking lunatic is. Or she can fuck around and maybe get sued?

You could take this and run with it clear into the ground. A hoodie with a thousand confused / angry / etc Vegeta faces. A hoodie with every bit of concept art and spritework for like, Mario. A hoodie with every time Captain Marvel takes a punch in the comics.

As for Ahegao shirts being against the rules, wasn't it last month that they started pushing to ban them because they "harm women?"
