I wouldn't be scared of John as most would anyone else be they could simply walk away from him and he would drunkenly fall out or run out of breath trying to chase you.
But reality is he's scary, grifters are. They lack the emotional connection to not be just takers in life. Think back, the shame you felt even if you didn't get busted eating a cookie before dinner? John doesn't feel that at 50 despite never doing anything with his life, lying about everything and taking so much more from people than just a fucking oreo.
We all like to laugh how funny it would be if we could push Chris into a train or something, those are jokes. John has a history of abusing and stealing from mentally challenged people. That's some shit up there with breaking cats legs for laughs. That's scary to me.
