From what we’ve been told from Null’s sources and such, the cops already hate Yaniv, but I don’t see anything happening because there were no significant injuries. It’d be different if he broke the reporter’s nose or something, but he’s a bag filled with pudding and it was probably more annoying than anything. Though maybe something will happen because he already had the weapons charge pending.

So I’ve never watched a video of Yaniv, and admit that in some photos I thought he could pass as an ugly, fat middle aged woman. Didn’t realize how much like a dude he sounded. Even Chris puts on a better female voice.

As much it is sucks, yeah. In assault cases, the amount of damage done plays a significant role in what the punishment is. And if the punishment would be too insignificant, I can see the cops not wanting to waste their time. Not that I agree with it; I’m just incredibly cynical.

To be completely honest, I don't think it's the cops themselves. Rather, I think they are being told to stand down by the people above them in the hierarchy. I can't think of anything else that would explain it, especially in Justin Trudeau's Canada.

Personally, I am only shocked that Levant has not yet launched a fundraiser to grift off this. I imagine he's working on registering yanivprosecution.com right now. I suspect his main problem is that while he would like to fundraise $50,000 to pay for a few hundred CA$ of medical expenses for Mr. Bexte and split the remainder (90:10) with him, noone can actually spell either 'keann' or 'bexte'. You could probably get away with similar across most of Ammurrica. In California, one can lead a riot against a permitted protest, attack protesters and reporters, and you will get (at worst) community service and retain your job as a school teacher while the protesters who defend themselves get years in prison.

Canada definitely needs SOMETHING. It's pretty sad when some 300lb man in a dress can run around beating reporters in front of a court house, while on their way to a hearing for their own illegal weapons offense and have no repercussions.
