Chantal's stunted growth, her inability to progress mentally out of her high school years, and the total lack of employment, is a big reason for her inability to stick with something for more than a few weeks (at the most - and even then, it's likely she's only creating the illusion, or trying to, anyway, that she's sticking with it). There was a period, maybe two years ago, where Chantal decided she would have multiple YT channels. One would be for her mukbangs (her current channel), another for her story times, like Mundane Mondays and Creepy Pasta Thursdays, or whatever the hell they were, as well as a channel for her weight-loss journey and even a gaming channel (yes, this happened, briefly, for like a week - where she aimed the camera at her TV screen and played a video game). None of it stuck, through. Just as nothing has stuck. The only consistent thing about Chantal's channel is that it eventually always leads back to her stuffing her face on camera.
She has no discipline. It's why she's 400+ lbs. But she has no discipline, in part, because she never grew up. Having a job is more than just a social responsibility. It's actually a pivotal moment in a person's personal growth, as they learn new things, take on added responsibilities and build up that discipline to be successful. The only time Chantal had any of that in her employment career was when she momentarily worked as the administrative assistant to that doctor - and she couldn't do it. She couldn't do it because she likely lied about her experience, her background and over-inflated her skills so that she got a job she was woefully unqualified for and quickly lost it because she's too stupid to put in the effort to actually excel in that role.
But that was literally the last job Chantal ever had. She's had zero responsibility since and, despite being on the cups of her late 30s, and pushing her 40s, she lacks the social, and life skills, most people attain working for a living. It's why she's so fucking awkward in public and why she can't stick to a goddamn schedule.
She has the mentality of someone still in high school, or just out of it, who doesn't take life seriously enough yet. But that's okay for an 18 or 19 year old, who still has plenty of time to figure it out. Chantal is well beyond that point. Her only saving grace right now is Bibi. If he were to leave tomorrow, she'd be up shit creek without a paddle and forced to probably move into Peetz' one bedroom apartment to survive.
