Most emergency physicians won't touch pregnant women who have complaints that could be potentially related to their pregnancy. Myself included.

So they get sent up to L&D to bother an OB/GYN. That's probably what she wants. Trying to be Teen Mom while slowly aging and can't have any more kids. What a great life.

It probably depends on the hospital and the gestation of the pregnancy. Everywhere I've worked, if she was less than 20wks, it was the ED physician's problem. Send her to L&D when that kid is closer to viability. But Sammie is definitely a frequent flyer. Even if she did go to be triaged in L&D, I guarantee they run a pregnancy test on her every time because they know she's lying. OB and ED probably play hospital hot potato with her every time she goes in.

My local hospital here practices it this way: 10 weeks and below, ER is fine, over that, it's up to L&D where they charge you around $2k just your exam on top of whatever you are paying for your initial ER evaluation. You will get carted up to L&D if you have any illness, not just things that could be pregnancy related, it's because they're all much more up-to-date on what treatments a pregnant woman can and cannot have. They're pretty well informed on medical risk categories and such, ER docs generally don't have time to keep up on that sort of thing. All of this stuff is set by the individual hospital or their parent group so it can be different between hospitals in the same city.

I brought this up earlier in the thread but you have to be very, very profoundly stupid in order to qualify for SSI because of a developmental disability. That's our Sammie.

These people love nothing more than to waste everyones time, Anyone from a county with healthcare knows how waiting rooms and hospital waiting areas are always filled with these type.

The CNA nurse larp is so weird. Like of course sammie would say shes was on a teen mom show that doesnt even exist, that's normal for her, but nurse? Sammie has never shown any interest in anything resembling work so it's really strange to me shed try to pretend to be a nurse.

She came up with it one of the times recently that she was living with her mother. Mama Bushart probably suggested that Sammie take the course and get a job... so Sammie did the next best thing and listed it as her job on Facebook.
