Oh look, "rational" wiki updated it's shitty page recently

Some choice posts.....
My favorite thing about Breadtube is the absolute commitment to the notion that the semantic content of what someone believes about contemporary politics determines their value as a person. They’ll never express it as cleanly as that and it almost always goes as an unstated assumption, but it is an ever persistent load bearing pillar in the quivering subconscious of contemporary progressive groups.

I know this crosses genres by using a furry as an example, but if we take one of Humble Ewok’s examples I’ll show you what I mean:

We appreciate it! Back in my centrist phase, I did notice that leftists were some of the only people who didn't immediately recoil in disgust or start mocking my interests.

Furries are mostly libs or further left, so it's pretty difficult to exist socially in the fandom if you're vocal about your centrist or right-wing views. There are some libertarian furs, a handful of alt-right/Ben Shapiro listeners (mostly impressionable young people who had conservative parents), and small enclaves of literal nazis, but they aren't tolerated for the most part. I knew I had to hide my views if I wanted to continue having friends, and that created an extra bit of motivation to move further left when I started looking into leftist ideas. Hanging around with a particular transgender communist fur friend of mine and hearing his ideas was one of the biggest things that pulled me out of centrism, though.

Notice the emphasis on friendships being a motivating factor in the change on beliefs; it isn't strictly speaking about the psychological factors of just being around people who are different than you. SummitCollie speaks of hiding their views from their "friends"with the implication being that they might not have remained friends if they had simply been open about their views.

So I took a trip into SummitCollie'shistory and here is a reddit comment from about 4 months ago when Milo got B& from some fur convention:

SummitCollie said:
But even putting ideology aside, we don't want political drama at our conventions either, and that's exactly why we collectively called for him to be banned. He signed up to make a scene and get his name back in the headlines at our expense, and we don't put up with that shit. Furries have been dealing with haters and trolls for longer than Milo has been alive, and he's a fool if he still thinks he'll be able to get away with any bad behavior at/near the con.

The sad part is, he could've registered under a pseudonym, attended the con quietly without publicizing it, masked his identity... and had a great time. He would've found a loving and accepting community and potentially had his mind changed about how "leftists" are in real life (if he even believes the garbage he spouts). We would've accepted him with open paws and treated him to a fantastic weekend with free booze and parties, without any concern over his background, monetary worth, skin color, sexuality, or any other "identity" issue we supposedly care about so very dearly.

But he squandered the opportunity and instead used us to get some news articles written about him and 15 more minutes of relevance. What a pathetic person; he has no place in our community and we're not going to give him another chance.

Look at how Milo's acceptance into their community was contingent on the fact that if Milo erased his own beliefs and donned a fursuit, he'd have been lovebombed right into the petting zoo. If Milo simply didn't exist as he is (i.e. annoying faggotry) then he can be treated well, completetly oblivious to the fact that this is true of any fucking human community out there. You could take a gay Nigerian man riddled with HIV, drape him in the robes of the KKK and have him mingle with klansmen without betraying the fact of who is actually under the costume, he'd be treated warmly. What an insight into the human condition! Sanctioning people to deceive other people into thinking you are just like them so they'll yiff with you is bleeding edge progressive praxis innovated by people who dress up as dogs.

But what if Milo doesn't want wear the costume? SummitCollie tells us in another post contemporary to the one above, again speaking of Milo:

SummitCollie said:
We seriously had furry bootlickers complaining that the con banning him would constitute a violation of his free speech rights. Thankfully we're mostly left-wing and the overwhelming consensus was "lol fuck Milo, ban now."

Furs were posting maps to Twitter of places to buy milkshakes near the con before the ban came down. I love this community <3

He'll likely try to stir some shit there in spite of the ban, which makes me a bit uncomfortable to be attending, but we can't let the terrorists win and abandon one of our biggest conventions.

If Milo is honest about who he is, then the group will just bond over legally assaulting the dude and take back the sacred petting zoo. The dynamics mirror that of an abusive relationship, be what I want you to be or I'll use physical intimidation to force you to comply.

Because Breadtube functions exactly like this you can see how all the big names take on the characteristics of a battered spouse; they begin to fear for their life, their ability to function day to day becomes hampered at best, they start to self loathe, become far more susceptible to aggressive forms of manipulation, and so on. Contrapoints is ground zero and serves as the paragon example, being told to cry on stream and encouraged to do poppers by fans is the first thing that comes right to my mind.

Looks like he found out about the thread. Curious though, if you are attempting to close ranks, why would you broadcast it on twitter? (Rhetorical question, it's narcissistic underdog signaling.)

"The rational leftist" If the internet has taught me one thing over the the years, it's that anyone or anything that puts "Rational" in their name probably isn't rational at all.

If you feel the need to tell somebody upfront that your opinions are based off facts and reasoning, rather than letting your content speak for itself, you need to rethink your strategy.

TARD WAR: Sargon's number 1 fan, Gutian is very upset about some petty drama about his senpai not debating him. This makes me wonder. Who is more pathetic? Carl for acknowledging him and then backing out without warning? Or Will for actually caring about what Carl has to say on anything and getting assmad when he couldn't DESTROY him with facts, logic and reason?
I decided the winner when Gutian said Carl told him "I hadn't watched more than ten minutes of your stuff" while Gutian then goes on to humble-brag that he watched hours of Sargon's content in preparation.

Though I was biased after the way he threw himself into the chair at the start of the video.

Actually I wonder, would Gutian debate one of us? Or is he too scared? Or is it because we're just randoms not trying to move up in the world by challenging others? 🤔

Gutian would probably try justifying it by using the tried and true tactic of "But I don't wunna give them a voice" by letting anons debate them.

She has no real reason to debate us anyway, there's no ladder-climbing points or prestige and it would require her to debate without just parroting memorized ad hoc responses and platitudes. I gaurantee some meme-ideology troll would come along and unironically beat them in a debate.

The Rational Response Squad especially comes to mind with that for me. Had the farms come into existence much sooner around 06-07, they would've had a thread here for sure, but at least there's an ED article that archived their retardation until they faded away into oblivion.

That said, Rational Leftist is still a stupid teenager just like any other, so here's hoping he realizes just how uncool this shit is and this whole episode just ends up being something he'll be slapping himself in the face over after dwelling back on it for eight seconds in the next five or so years

Add this too the literal how to meme Book they wrote a couple of years ago and were starting to get to self parody territory.

The dumbest thing about this cover is he's missing a perfectly good line of argumentation. The left HAS memed with great success; on television, film and in academia. A massive number of people who aren't even leftists still believe in "Iraq was for oil", "Smallpox Blankets" (only ever done once) , "Viet Cong rekt the US military", "WW1 was just a family feud that millions had to die for", "Native Americans lived in Eden-like peace before the white man came" and similar distortions. They're just having trouble adapting to more short-form meme formats.

I'm not even gonna try and go through this like I've done with other posts cause the autism is just too overwhelming. I only have one question: What did Elon Musk do? Outside of being a smug, overrated prick ofc.
But my personal favorite is this. Just....

(yes I used a mouse stfu)
Then it devolves into a circlejerk about how internet "smart guys" love to hide behind the curtain of libertarianism to justify their abhorrent conservative political beliefs. (literally Ctrl + F this, it's fucking hilatious)

They hate Elon Musk because he is rich. Leftists constantly try to downplay his actual accomplishments (such as Space X driving down the cost of getting payloads into space enormously) because they personalize everything and assume someone they don't like is incapable of greatness. You see this from the modern left constantly - if I don't like someone then their success must all be phony or an invention of he KKKorporate media.

As for Johnson: He's literally a moderate Republican who loves weed. Dude is not some hardline libertarian - he was the well-respected governor of a blue state. He had one of the highest approval ratings in the country in a state that always votes democratic in presidential elections so clearly he isn't some extremist. None of these people know anything about politics.

Well leftists refuse to get a job because they want communism to do the work for them. They can't handle that capitalism benefits, rightfully so, smart people.

Did you know that communist-apologist PigPuncher actually doesn't know the difference between private and personal property?

Also, people are ripping on PigPuncher recently for being an unlikeable dick. And, the faggot was recently suspended by twitter for ban evasion and ranted about how the CEO of Twitter and its staff were neo-nazis for banning him. What a character.
