The "Ma'am!" dude was a real world case, even if not in my world.
Here? I've already seen "non-binary" people. We had a transgender politician who was a somehow normal human being about five years ago, but no. It wasn't enough. Now we have woke trans trying to be in politics. So, it's just starting here.

Tbh literally never. The "worst" I've seen irl is someone politely asking and then having the other person respect it because most people aren't utter assholes. The "MAAAAA'AM"s exist and are becoming more prevalent with Internet indoctrination but are still not at all common. Most people don't like being punched in the face so don't act in manners likely to result in that.

Multiple times for me. I'm in academia though, so the environment caters to people like that. The closest encounter I had was that one of my coworkers was a Ma'am for ~2 years before he moved on. The greasiest most goblinoid Jewish man you'd ever lay eyes on, covered in body hair, but wore a dress and hairband every day. I've also had 3 people I knew personally (2 men and 1 woman) be pressured into trannyism by the leftoid cliques they were in, all targeted during their most stressful years of college.
These people disgust me.

Literally if you go to college that is accredited in anyway this is normal behavior to see at least once if not often.
In the real world these people though don't tend to survive very long unless they leech off of actually competent people, which is why you see so many of them turn into angry harpies because the world doesn't bow down to it like the colleges have

If you live in an urban center every single day. I've personality known or worked with 4, encountered many more. They are without question all insane and reveal it eventually.

Some powerleveling
At least twice that I can remember. The first was at work; joking around with someone I'm on good terms with, forget what they said but I give them a "Did you just assume my gender?" Then out of nowhere, some dumb thot "Oh, are you non-binary too?!" - "No, because I'm not retarded." Wound up in HR, got a talking to about people identities and mutual respect and shit.
The other was at church; while I'm nowhere near a devout Mormon of any form, I go because I like some of the people and the few conservative values they still teach. Girl I went to school with, whose entire family has probably been in the church since Joseph Smith times; went off to college, got married, had a kid, something changed somewhere, went to beautician school, became a hair dresser, went full woke, even adopted a black kid. Got the whole "I tolerated you when we were younger, but you're a horrible person" from her... and I sucked her toes on a dare once.
