I joined SA back in 1999, after the first banhammer purge I reregged in 2000. About July or August of last year, I got into a slapfight with the sjw-always-online crew and they bought me a red title avatar. I decided to step away from the forums. Well holy crap I came back last week and couldn't believe my eyes, fyad deleted by the trannies, admin-mod upheaval (although that's common) lowtax involved in yet another divorce dispute. I'm reading through this thread to try and catch up on what I've missed. I technically still have an account there, but I don't feel like torturing myself.

Anyway, welcome to KF, you're probably already appreciating how this place has the same kind of atmosphere of early 2000's SA. Just a heads up, if you ever mention your SA account name, you'll get banned on SA just for being registered here.

Also, I didn't know anyone registered in 1999. The earliest regdates I ever saw, other than Lowtax's, were all from 2000.

It is human nature to seek culpability in a time of tragedy. It is a sign of strength to cry out against fate, rather than to bow one's head and succumb. Inevitably, many shall fault the finger on the mouse that gassed two tranny threads and banned some of the most insufferable posters. But the Moderator merely performs the duties of its office. To further fear them is redundant. To hate them, heretical. Those more sensible will place responsibility with those who forced the hands of the Moderators. With some fortune, they may foster this hatred into purpose, and further rule their own fate by donating to Lowtax's patreon or buying some avatars. Yet ultimately, it was I who set these events into motion, with a single blow from my banhammer upon Keep it Real.

I remember in ye Olde days there were a few 99s registered, maybe even a 98 (someone fact check that) but they all got banned and left/re-regd in the 2000s. They were hold overs from the proto-sa, I think at one point it was a free forum with free sign up and waaay fewer rules. The paywall was added to stop the rampant sockpuppeting
