Early 00s forums were also seriously retarded and overrun by edgy 15 year olds and that shit was painful to read. Having an account-holder invest both 10 bucks and (probably) holding a credit card and therefore being an adult did wonders to keep the riff-raff out. It's fun to shit on SA and all and it's been bad for longer than it has been good but the signal-to-noise ratio was terrible in many newsgroup and web places after AOL and friends opened the floodgates and brought the internet to your average idiot teenager and clueless normie and SA was genuinely refreshing in that regard. Late 90s and early 00s internet "public places" like forums and such also had a massive slant towards children and teenagers, as these were usually the ones using the "family computer". Basically imagine forums, but they look like comment sections of minecraft youtubers. Avoiding that was worth the tenner.

I really want to know why the "experts" (e.g. the World Health Organization) decided transgenderism is suddenly no longer a mental illness in the last 2 years or so.

It's just a gesture of politically-correct wokeness points-scoring, right? Shit just doesn't add up.

Either way it's pretty pathetic seeing Lowtax's dumb dead gay forum get turned into a drama hub for priggish holier-than-thou types with what would have recently been considered severe mental illnesses.

I finished reading the posts in this thread, I can't wrap my head around the trannies having not only taken over the forums but also shutting down FYAD. I understand they effectively chased away everyone who ever tried to get in or post more in that place but like someone here already stated, your "neutral" goon poster doesn't give a shit about FYAD and the people who can't stand them aren't exactly sad about this either.

AGP is definitely real and makes up a large percentage of transwomen today. Until the past decade it was simply called a cross-dressing fetish and cross-dressing was one of the largest niche fetishes around, but was kept behind closed doors or within like minded groups.

There’s a tranny forum called Susan’s Place and for many years most of the members were cross-dressers, but as time marched on they migrated to being trans because it meant they could indulge their fetish 24/7 and force everyone to play along with it.

Just go read any current crossing dressing forum and it sounds 100% like an AGP tranny. It’s a big sexual thrill to dress as a woman and an even bigger thrill to go out in public that way. Now they get to call you a bigot if you don’t go along with their pervy fantasy life.

Actual transwomen are rare, men with a cross-dressing fetish are far more common.

Tasty's meltdown was classic SA mentalism, he created 30+ accounts and resulted in the $10. Around the same time the original goongirl ArtFag posted photoshopped nudes and freaked out about someone claiming they could fix it. I also remember the first forum invasion of SAAN (Smile and Act Nice) whose posters joined SA and led to an influx of women and indeed trolling.

I miss SA in its primitive prime. It's a total shell of entitled mentalists these days who don't and can't comprehend jokes. It's not a safespace and never has been, they banned furries, they banned pony weirdoes and they should ban this lot. They won't though, Kiwi Farms has become the new SASS to them.
