Realistically - what is actually hosted on SA? It's all still pictures, literal text articles, flash games/movies, and a forum running on software from 1999/2003. A non-retarted person could probably host SA as it currently is on a fucking flash drive - not like it gets huge traffic either.

About a year ago one of Imgur's big re-posters, somebody who would take the top memes from the day and then repost them a month or two later to get those absolutely worthless upvotes, accidentally un-privated one of their folders which had thousands of CP pictures/videos in them. Not questionable teen or babies in bathtubs type shit, but infants getting fucked level stuff. The folder was dated years ago, proving none of that shit is ever reviewed. 30+ years online and it's the only time I've ever filled out an online FBI tip.

If a normie site like Imgur has problems with that shit then I shudder to think of the problem on a site that shelters pedo admins.

All the old threads are unreadable because waffleimages was never backed up. Waffleimages was the goon run image host, very close to Imgur for the 2000s. Images used to cost money and goon threads always went over the paltry data limit of other free image hosts.

Lowtax was holding a meetup at his place, and to be one of the few to go on a fabled Goon-Hajj to meet Lowtax himself was truly an incomparable honor, a golden ticket to the inner manbaby circle. One naiive goons, a 'yadder as I recall, brought his girlfriend with him.
And as the goon was enraptured with worshipful awe at the chance to see the goonlord in the pale, out of shape flesh, the goon's girlfriend, being a woman, naturally gravitated towards the clearly socially superior male. And Lowtax, being the upstanding guy we all know him to be, encouraged her to register an account on her forums, which she did as "Fawnette". The awkward online courtship and vengeful nood-leaking that followed were par for the course for FYAD in that era, and in a way it was kind of accepted by goons at that point to get cucked by the webmaster of their favorite internet forum. I even made a fun smiley emoji to commemorate the latest e-ho addition to the forums.

After all, chinkwife and Integral were also girlfriends of goons who were brought along to meet Lowtax IRL.
The lesson is: don't bring your girlfriend along if you're going to simp for an e-celeb kids.

I seem to recall there being a sort of agreement to never talk about the image server because certain goons were passing CP through PMs.

A couple years ago, there was a big blowup in QCS about a questionable flag(random image banner in FYAD that was comprised of images uploaded by goons), and the admins touched on the fact that there are probably thousands of illegal images floating around the site that no one will ever have time to weed out.

The whole thing started when a goon saw a flag that was an image of Lisa Simpson blowing Bart or Homer, and everyone made the biggest fucking deal about it until Failtax barged into the thread, proclaimed that he thought it was funny and insisted that it stay.

If you would like a cringe, apparently lowtax was once chummy with the rifftrax guys, you know, a good portion of the old MST3K crew? Yeah those guys. He was even a guest on their first live show and it's practically unwatchable unfunny. They had some something awful style "funny adverts" and he is so obviously uncomfortable it is really hilarious. They changed the format of their lives shows after that, presumably because the first one was abominably awful and lowtax was no longer welcome on stage with them.
