Burn it down lads

Someone mentioned the PLA. A few weeks ago we were treated to the sight of disciplined hordes of Chinese naval personnel jogging in formation on a new aircraft carrier. Have also seen military medical personnel jogging in formation to get onto a military transport plane. And for...what? Choreography doesn't mean core competence. The CCP worries far more about looking good than doing things right.
There's an old truism from Uncle Joe and my days: "A parade ready unit is not combat ready and a combat ready unit is not parade ready."

From what we've seen of their military, I can't stop laughing. Guys out there in Halloween costumes, not wearing their masks properly. protective gear half on or jacked up all to hell. That means they don't train with it, and if you don't train with it, you don't know how to use it. Long term familiarity is vitally important with some of your more exotic gear, especially in the NBC section.

The fogger reminds me of the DDT sprayers of yesteryear, although the DDT sprayers probably had more effect than this shit will.

We have seen the Chinese government make the worst decision they could time after time. A literal retard will get answers right eventually, but the Chinese seem incapable of it.

I mean, it's like if China was taking this test:

You see a dog with bloody foam around its mouth. Do you:
A) Pet it
B) Teach it to dance
C) Tell an adult
D) Eat it

And China shoves the test up its ass and runs naked around the classroom hooting like a monkey.

The Pollution Goblin defenders all go: "Well, what would you do, smart guy?" and the fun part is you can just BTFO their dick suckers by just saying you'd do the opposite. You hear "They studied the 1918 Spanish Flu epidemic" all the time. Well, apparently, they studied the parts where we fucked up royally and said "Hurr, ching chang chong chung" and walked into a wall because they're too stupid to remember where the fucking door is.

Open bay areas? Yeah, that was done during the Spanish Flu epidemic. In the beginning. When we didn't know what the fuck we were doing. We quickly stopped that shit. Door to door? We stopped that shit too.

But no, the Pollution Goblins just saw all the terrible mistakes and ran with them.

If we're right on target with dumbass decisions, we should have unprotected "Security Teams" or "People's Health Patrols" grabbing people physically and throwing them in the back of cattle-cars where they will be taken to "The People's Fun Time Party" never to be seen again. It's the dumbest thing they could do, barring napalming or nuking Wuhan.

So far, every country should be watching the Pollution Goblins carefully and taking notes.

This is how you DON'T address an epidemic as a modern nation.

The one thing that keeps nagging me about those shipping container built prisons hospitals is the PLA would have at a minimum Two Mobile Military Hospitals equipped to handle NBC patients. They could probably each handle at least 1000 patients. That capacity is part of their Military Doctrine. It’s part of everybody's military doctrine. So where are they? They should have been deployable in a matter of days. Why this show of building magic hospitals from shipping crates and construction trailers? Where exactly has the PLA been?
Just because it's in their doctrine (I'd love to see a translation of the doctrine they stole from other countries and misapplied) and on the paperwork doesn't mean they exist or work worth a damn. NBC units are EXPENSIVE and MMH's tricked out for NBC are even more so.

My bet is that they're saving the NBC units to protect the main Pollution Goblin hives and ocean adjacent spawning pits. There's no way they bother deploying specialized units that are gonna show the West that Pollution Goblin, not Hamburger Kingdom, culture will rule the Earth for a bunch of stick chewing mouth breathing street shitting peasants. Those units need to be where the Party Leaders are and the shipping ports are.

Besides, pretty soon they'll have enough dead bodies to be able to write POLLUTION GOBLINS NUMBAH WUN! and have it seen from the ISS, proving their domination over space and their territorial claim to the moon, since in ancient times a Pollution Goblin leader walked to the moon and back.

Man, fuck China.

Either way, the 'hur dur it's just like the flu' argument is nonsense.

An otherwise healthy doctor, who is exposed to all sorts of pathogens day-to-day does not end up in a critical condition as a matter of routine.

He was an ophthalmologist so I don't think he was regularly exposed to all sorts of pathogens on the day to day. He would be a specialist for eyesight issues- cataracts, glaucoma, etc. It's literally one of the fields of medicine where you should have a very low risk of pathogen exposure, even.

The guy seemed to have heard about the outbreak, warned friends and it went viral, was reprimanded for it then he treated a patient who was infected and thus infected him. We don't know if he was healthy either, you could assume so certainly. You could also consider his death if it was by wuflu was another tally on it affecting Asian males even more. If he wasn't killed by China for being a dissident.

IMO. They probably wanted confusion about his death otherwise there's a huge risk of him becoming a martyr figure.

Update; Almost of soon as I finished posting previously this came out. Some of this has been recently seen.

Leaked Footage Confirms Latest Nationwide Order is Already In Effect 2/6/2020 5:00 Minutes

The levels of horror witnessed there tear at the soul. Particularly telling is the crew removing the body make no effort to prevent the guy from filming them with his phone. They’re not caring about CCP appearances anymore. At least not the poor people on the ground bringing out the dead.

I trust Japan to be able to handle this much better than China. To be fair, I'm not surprised there are that many people in Japan infected considering they're so close and traffic both ways is frequent.

Personally I think they killed him. I believe they gave him the bare minimum of treatment that they could get away without being monitored (Usage of cell phones and other recording devices while in treatment). They died of his illness they will say and trechnically they would be right. This doctor was a detriment to the CCP now and in the future if he was allowed to live. This is how a failed state thinks and because of the culling of the intellectuals during Mao's reign the people in China now are overall fucking ignorant animals.

This is the reason why China fears Taiwan. Because This could have been China now. A rich modernized East Asian country that works.

China could have curtailed this early on and make this problem less than it is now. The reasons why are many but this does have to do with saving face and then the celebration of their new year. Billions of dollars goes back into China from abroad. The CCP makes money off of their people as the government thinks them as pawns to be used against the west. There is a huge shadow economy that goes on over there over real western goods as well as their shady banking practices.

These "Shit Goblins" (love that term), do not understand and are unable to understand that their actions do have consequences.
This virus has showed those people with the common sense to understand that China is nothing more than a very weak country whose infrastructure, the military, The medical, the infrastructure, their polluted lands and air, their housing and business market, their general population are inferior in every single way to the modernized Western World. Everything is based off of LIES over in China. They are the Cancer of the World being ran by a flawed, totalitarian government, led my a ruthless leader known as Xi Jinping.

In reality the virus has shown us they are just a fucking 3rd world shit barn with some technology that they stole from the west.

Remember: When you have 1.4 billion, mostly sub humans due to their culture. What's a few million sick or dead. That is less than 1/10 of 1%. And that is how the CCP looks at it.

The only reason why they are taking action is because of their arrogance of thinking that everyone in their population is going to tote the government line. It did not happen. The brave few that spoke out against the warning of this virus have been silenced early on before the virus got out of hand.

Or have been executed by any means possible. If that means by delaying the proper medicine to the sick.... Especially the doctor who gave out his warning out on social media, then it will be done.

Remember this when you have to deal with people from China. IT is their truth that matters and nothing else.

It's like a secular version of the Tower of Babel: instead of teasing God, they teased common sense. I wish no ill to Chinese people, but their government has been trying too much without caring for their people or how to. It was only a matter of time before everything blew up for them. If you believe in spirituality or anything like that, you can say it's Karma.

Go up two posts and watch the video. The Grab Gangs have begun. We can sadly guess what happened to the couple stuffed in the box on the truck.

Of fucking course they are.

Well, next on the list sending troops that have been doing the sweeps who "must be immune because they didn't catch it yet" from the cities to the countryside.

This also gives the lie to China's pretensions to being a superpower. No superpower, or even a major power, deals with an outbreak of disease in the way China has. China starts off not by trying to find the infected as soon as possible and limiting the spread of the virus, but by hunting down and apprehending those doctors who raised the alarm. China boasts of rapidly building "hospitals" which already seem to be nothing more than death houses.

Even several weeks into the outbreak, China keeps hunting down those who spread the truth. NOT the actions of any sort of major power. The curtain of the glittering cities has been pulled back to show the real China - a Third World level of sanitation and medical care. In many ways, China is turning out to be a Potemkin country. The front and the back don't match.

If it is true that this virus is a man-made product that got out of a biological warfare facility due to slipshod adherence to safety standards, this would be just one more, fatal, example of the Chinese cutting corners in their work, in an area where cutting corners can be fatal on a large scale.

The Chinese people are a great people. They have gone through times and troubles we in the USA/most First World countries should be very glad indeed not to have experienced. China still has major problems, even before the outbreak of the virus, that we in the USA/First World should be very glad not to have. Unfortunately for the Chinese people, their model of government basically considers the people to be sand in the hands of the rulers, to be spread hither and yon, packed into containers, or just left to die, if need be, to serve the interests of the rulers, whatever they are called.

The CCP worries far more about looking good than doing things right. The CCP's China has been shown to be a house of cards, built on a foundation of shifting sands. And the Chinese people are paying the price. But the scales have dropped from the eyes of many outside China.

Not only is this seeming to turn into China's Chernobyl, but it could be the event that turns the China of the 2020's into the Japan of the 90's - they had their chance and they blew it.

I understand the Chernobyl reference, but what happened to Japan in the 90s that was detrimental to them? It looks like they're in a good place now as a first world country.

On an unrelated note, I seriously hope those trials of remdesivir and other repurposed drugs bear fruit. As much as it would be nice to see the CCP fall, the collateral damage is piling up and I'm pretty sure not all infected are terrible people.

Chinese couple being snatched up off the street and stuffed into a metal box on the back of a truck. The screams...

This reminds me of reading about how the Soviet secret police would pick people up at night during the Purges of the 30's. Just like loading a couple of pieces of meat into a van. Funny how the metal box fits so well into the bad of the truck, as if designed for just that purpose.

Every day this kind of thing happens, and every time this gets out to the world, China shows their true colors. Humans don't matter. Acknowledging a person's humanity doesn't matter. Only the needs of the CCP matter.

And I wonder if the CCP is thusly sowing the wind that begets the whirlwind.

Lmao

Media:
Oh no worries! Wuflu ain't any worse than the flu. Don't be silly

so slowly they're gonna start shifting off the "flu is worse!" narrative and shift onto a new "SARS is worse narrative"

Yup, sure. Whatever you say

Honestly, taken in isolation as a single patient, it probably isn't that deadly, and may be dealt with with a minimum of intervention. Like most Pneumonia. Unless the patient is already very compromised. But what happens when that minimum needed intervention is no longer available due to the system being overwhelmed? That's when the numbers start piling up.

I expect that, along the vaccine, we'll have a few imbeciles going into full "this is a plot to sell medicine!" mood.

I really hope these people put their money where their mouth is and don't take the medicine or the vaccine once is available for everybody.

The Japanese economy was expected to overtake the United States, that is until the growth turned out to be a bubble. Once the inevitable happened, the economy shit the bed so hard that Japan has still, at the time of me writing this, not fully recovered.

For more off the cuff news, everyone's favorite space pronoun simulator, The Outer Worlds, has had its switch port delayed due to the virus.

In the mid and late 80's, Japan was touted as preparing to overtake the USA. Japanese companies were buying a lot of companies and properties in the USA. Then in the early 90's, Japan crumped, for lack of a better term. They ended up selling many investments in the USA. The situation in Japan didn't go completely down the tubes by any means, but their growth rate shrunk and has stagnated ever since. But I agree they are in a good place as a First World country, national debt issues notwithstanding.

Agree. Believe the vast majority of those infected are just regular people, people we might like to meet, talk with, whatever. Also believe the supplies of the best antivirals, as well as the best hospitals and best medical care, are reserved for senior CCP members and their families. They most likely go to special hospitals in secure areas.
