My favorite pastime in Splatoon 2 is spawn camping the opposing team. Not only is it fun, but it allows my teammates to ink more of the map while they’re distracted. I’m especially good at doing this...

His teammates almost certainly hate him as well because he's using a fucking roller, which are meant to ink large amounts of turf quickly (and also you can slap them to send ink flying far enough to splat players, and yes it's very broken). He should be out in the middle of things inking up the place instead of playing it safe unlike pretty much the rest of the team.

Even worse is that the map he's depicting is extremely charger friendly, chargers being the Splat version of a sniper rifle. The range isn't unlimited, but it's really good, and just one good charger player will give an opening for the rest of the team to push the other team back to the spawn point.

Anyways knowing Dobson he only plays against American/European players and avoids when the bulk of Japanese players are up, who are really, really good.

One final thing is that there's only ink in the vicinity after he splats the other team, meaning he just walked up there without bothering to lay any ink down. Not only does it hinder his team by having less turf inked, it's dangerous for him because if things go south he has no way to swim away in a hurry (which is much faster than walking/running).

tl;dr Dobson fucked up in many ways.

Roller has that reputation for that very reason. I have played with, and against, a great many roller players that suck out loud. I will regularly out-ink the roller users on my team. There are very few roller users that are genuinely talented, and I guarantee Dobson isn't one of them.

Anyways when it comes down to it a talented roller is a lot less important than a talented charger, especially on the right map. A team can still ink lots of turf without a roller, but a talented charger will shut down your assault immediately.

Could Dobson realistically avoid a "sniper" that's gunning for him while he sits there waiting for respawns to camp out to?

No. Charger range is by far the best out of any weapon, but it's not unlimited, or even huge by war game standards. However that would require getting by them in the first place, which is extremely difficult to do with a genuinely talented charger user. He would be splatted before he got close to ascending to their spawn point. On the off chance that he did and that particular player got splatted however, one or more other players could toss bombs, and while Dobson is getting out of range he'd be wide open to get splatted by a charger.

As a visual aid here's a video demonstrating the charger with the greatest range. It doesn't seem like a lot, but it's well out of range of all other standard weapons.

how easy is it to dodge grenades/bombs? Dobbo claims to be an expert that never gets hit by them.

It depends, there are multiple different bomb types. One rolls a little, another rolls a lot, another sticks to surfaces (even vertical ones), another explodes on contact, two different types actively follow enemy players, yet another can explode multiple times, and the last type is a mine. And I don't believe that Dobson is such an expert that he can avoid bombs every time. If he's not being outright splatted by bombs he's running away and giving them an opening to splat him/get away and try to reclaim turf.

And no, you can't change weapons mid-battle if you don't have a bomb type for a sub weapon. If things go south you either rage quit or (preferably) suck it up until the three minute time limit is up.

Sonicfox has a kiwifarms thread. He used to attention whore about being a gay guy but I guess these days that doesn't get you enough oppression points anymore so he decided he's nonbinary now to get a legion of trans community asskissers without having to actually transition.

Yeah, but it has sex, violence, and conflict in it. Also, the way the timeline is configured requires you to engage your brain when figuring out what's actually going on in the show. All of these are basically Dobsonbane.

Guarantee you that if he did watch it and somehow made it through the very first scene where Geralt fights a monster, and then made it through the various sex scenes, that he'd write a six paragraph minimum rant about how the different timelines needed big, obvious labels every time they switched, and maybe some sort of visual cue like the further back ones being in black and white.

I think the issue with that claim, is that chucklefucks like Dobbo and similar clowns take the concept off "yes, kids cartoons that show mature topics" and just run with it. While there have been episodes in certain shows (for example Courage had an episode about abusive relationship and same sex couple), it is dumb to assume that EVERY show does this or that they just hammer you over the head, shows still need to make so their target audience aka kids dont go "what in the fuck is this shit?!"

Agreed. Kids shows can delve into more mature topics, but at the same time, you shouldn't alienate your audience with either the Tom Hanks or Cerberus Syndrome. The main issue with Dobson and the other chucklefucks is that they do nothing but live and breathe kids cartoons with the rare MCU movie. Any show or movie above PG-13 is too adult for them. Their heads would explode at something like the Wolf of Wall Street.
