Community Munchausen's by Internet (Malingerers, Munchies, Spoonies, etc) - Feigning Illnesses for Attention

Its quite.....too quite, is there a munchie storm a brewing?

Cherie's the only one I really pay attention to and she's been MIA ever since she first got posted here. I'm sad.

My God, they didn't check the lumen count! Finally, my 13 years of medical training has paid off.

One. Two. As you may have ascertained from the name "double lumen" your PICC has not one but two lumina.

Watch out I got Latin on ya there. Pretty tricky right? Now calm down and stop hitting that call button like it stole your lunch money.

Autie: As I am her biggest fan.
apparently Autie had a suicide attempt recently (about a week ago) if it hasn’t been posted already, she’s moving up on her place in the death pool.
But she is past it and will come back stimming again, lets hope.

I feel so bad for her poor fucking kid. He actually has autism and his mother is a batshit attention whore.

His future isn't looking too bright.

I know, and we don't hear much about the kid. When you have a young one with special needs, it kinda takes the front seat in your life. At least it should. Parents do get sick, but even before her breakdown she was always more about herself.

I agree I feel so bad for him, especially when he’s trying to get attention in the background of her videos and she ignores him. Imagine being jealous that your kid gets attention that you make up shit to get your own.

For those of us who love stim dancing, this video Autie linked is beautiful.

I’ll give one or two in the video the benefit of the doubt that they actually have the ‘tism
But not looked into anyone else featured in the video.

Stim dancing has a really different meaning for me.

It's usually when the meth psychosis really turns up to 11 and they start dancing to our various beeping and alarming medical devices. Keepin' that party going.

Is kaelijae planning a redemption story arc? Stay tuned true believers.

However, I fully expect her to just shift the ebegging back to even more vague problems like not being able to afford Vegas living. I can't afford Vegas either nor would I want to.
If she's got a tugboat and medicaid now it's time to downsize and stop larping as a "full time content creator". Shit ain't gonna work out, people have a long memory and know even when she's not ebegging she's nasty, conceited and entitled.

So, this bitch is a hipster weeb, too? "Kiss Kellie Jae"? The fuck is that supposed to mean. Reminds me of this 30 something idiot I know from back home who throws random Google Translate katakana in all her Twitter posts (Donut Girl! Peach Baby!) , despite speaking zero Japanese.
She's a hot topic girl in her 40s. Prone to babytalk inbetween Valley Girl speak.

Despite the length of her "career" she's absolute shit at games which is why I think of her as a female dsp.

I don't know why munchies never go for random rare diseases.

I'm honestly confused about the kid. She's openly suicidal and "since before Christmas, I started to decline in the worst state mentally imaginable"... how is she still allowed custody of her kid? Has no one reported her?

I ask because when I lived in the US, a mom friend had a panic attack - that's it, no history of mental illness and definitely never suicidal, I'll spoiler "the full story" because it's so boring, but suffice to say there was absolutely no 'child neglect' involved -

My friend is/always has been a very capable, loving mother and this family lived well - beautiful home (all her!), a dazzling social circle (more him - he was the son of a Hollywood legend and moving up very quickly behind-the-scenes thanks to the very rare combo of nepotism and a strong work ethic, and he knew everyone who mattered in that scene basically from birth), while she was more quiet, and unfailingly humble and warm (old money, real class - the kind where she didn't need to tell you about her impeccable pedigree because she knew someone else would fill you in) plus she was a brilliant scholar who blitzed through multiple degrees at Oxford and then became the perfect "Hollywood wife" while also pursuing her own stellar career, precisely because she couldn't have cared less about any of the celebrity bullshit, and that's so rare celebrities would do anything to win her approval.)

Anyway, the panic attack - their son was three, dad was over fatherhood and marriage too, she'd just returned from an amazing trip to her loving family in her home country to a very cold welcome and a now-loveless marriage and she and her son were both jet lagged, but on opposite schedules somehow... he wanted to sleep when she felt wide awake, and vice versa. After a week of this she was exhausted, she'd barely slept and hardly eaten anything but her son's leftovers, and she was living for the weekend when dad could shoulder some of the child care... only he was more into video games and didn't help her at all. Sunday night she started panicking thinking of another full week like the last one with no help, which developed into full-blown hyperventilation... she woke up her husband and asked him to call 911, and he told her to fuck off and let him sleep. Her heart rate is in tachycardia territory naturally, so she has a home heart rate monitor... her 'resting' pulse that night was 180. In the morning, her husband left for work, she was still deep in panic, but she got her son fed and dressed and called an uber to take him safely to his daycare (it was just around the corner from their home, but she didn't feel safe driving him or even walking, she still felt like she was having a heart attack), then called her sister-in-law (because her husband - my friend's husband's brother - has had countless debilitating panic attacks over 15-odd years). SIL raced to pick her up and take her to the ER. She was given a Xanax, and after her blood tests came back a huge dose of potassium too - she only had trace levels in her blood from being too busy with her son to eat a proper meal in ages. Everything got better very quickly, and she was discharged within hours without a psych hold or anything - but staff definitely noticed when her husband arrived and started screaming at her for being 'weak' and 'useless'. Dad picked his son up from daycare later that afternoon (he didn't know where it was, he'd never been there even though his son had been going there for a year!) and the nightmare was over - until the next day, when a DCFS worker appeared to 'follow up' on the husband's abusive behaviour in the ER, and shit got real. She's never had another panic attack (this was seven, eight years ago?) but her 'admission' to child neglect (see below) absolutely screwed her when he filed for divorce soon after to be with his mistress - it still all feels like he and his mother took advantage of this 'opportunity' to paint her as an unfit mother, and they brought up the child neglect ruling time and time again in divorce court.

but DCFS was alerted because her husband was a jerk when she went to the ER, and then they had to do a full investigation. And although the initial report was against him (for being abusive to her), somehow she ended up with a 'substantiated' charge of child neglect because she had 'failed to adequately provide for her own health as child's primary caregiver' - such bullshit, it still makes me angry because so many people actually abuse their kids and here's DCFS wasting six months on supervising this very good mother.

Anyway, when the DCFS agent came over a week later with the 'charges,' she said 'you've got to be joking, I'm not signing something saying I've neglected my child,' and the agent said 'well then I need to immediately remove your son' and she said 'well what can we do? Can we get a lawyer?' and the agent said 'sure, but I still have to remove your son while you do that, and it can take a week or more to get an emergency hearing' and the husband was there saying 'just sign it honey, it doesn't matter, we both know it's not true' (no prizes for the plot twist in the spoiler!) so she gave in and signed... I've read the entire case file, it was a fucking joke and it still makes me angry thinking about it years later - but I have asked several DCFS-connected people about it since, and it's honestly been 50/50 between 'agent clearly needed some paid time off with a nothing case, sucks for your friend, but the job's a nightmare' and 'sounds legit to me - if the dad (or the sister-in-law, or the mother-in-law, or the lady at the kid's daycare, or anyone the agent talked to) says I dunno, maybe she's depressed but mom says I feel okay, I don't plan to start seeing a psych or get on meds, then you've got no choice really - any hint of psych shit, you find some reason to pin them down and supervise, because what if you don't and then later she snaps?' (Like true DCFS workers, this is always voiced as 'we'd be in such shit' and not 'her poor child could be killed.')

TL,DR; in Cali at least it seems pretty routine for DCFS to act on even the suggestion that a parent might not be 100% 'mentally healthy'... so how is autie posting this 'worst state mentally imaginable' and 'suicidal' stuff publicly and still allowed to be unsupervised with her child? Or has she noped out of motherhood and just not told us yet?

He had stayed with his dad elsewhere whilst this stuff was going on.
Cannot remember, but was that the same disabled husband that she also claimed was domestically violent to her? 🙄
(or was that boyfriend afterwards? I remember she was tagging PTSD & domestic violence when she was with him and saying shit like “he helps me cope”. Her shit isn’t adding up. )
She has featured her parents on her stories recently and she doesn’t mention them usually. So I would guess that is what is going on here. Her parents probably has to help, or lose the kid. Or of course this whole thing was just horse shit for attention.

Woke princess and ally to everyone Jameela Jamil is having a tough week. First she’s forced to come out as “queer” and now someone accusing her of being a massive munchie.

Link to Instagram Stories:

Looking at her mother’s laundry list of ailments, it seems that Jameela didn’t fall far from the munchie tree.

Anyway, Jameela has kicked off on Twitter and is claiming the holes in her “car accident” story are because it was TWO car accidents (two car accidents both caused by running away from bees, in fact).

Damn, munchin' it old-school.

I'm assuming the case progression will look something like chronic Lyme, leaky gut, SIBO, gluten allergy...

How does someone get away with all of this nonsense for years in the public spotlight? Is KF really the only place that is capable of putting 2 and 2 together with these insane people?

Apparently. EDS Twitter is so far up her ass they can’t think straight. How rude we all are for questioning someone, how we must believe everyone who’s got seemingly unconnected symptoms must be a munchie (they said it, not me), how we’re all stigmatizing EDS even though it’s already so misunderstood and none of us understand how /hard/ it is to have such a rArE dIsEaSe

Benign hypermobility is insanely common among young women. It's not even like they have some kind of rare disorder.

Come on munchies, you know you want to have the Yemenite deaf-blind hypopigmentation syndrome. POTS and hEDS is some basic bitch shit. Try harder.
