I think the establishment Dems will try to ride the wave of political violence and rage they created. At first it seemed like Pelosi was holding back on impeachment but she went with it just to stonewall Trump. Few issues with that.

First when trump was suggested and even to this day Dems think they are the sane rational party, they don't see that they are unhinged when it comes to TDS they think the world is. Ask any dem you know and I guarantee you they will claim that they are being sane and rational.

Second the new guard are unhinged as could be and think that is why they are popular because they spent their whole career getting ass pats by the media I.E. the squad. When establishment handles them they get their unhinged lackeys to go after them. Look at Nancy Pelosies feedback before impeachment they were going after her like the madnongenders they are.

Third the course change they are going to go for is further left not back to being more moderate especially with how well Bernie is doing right now. Combine that with the fact that they think they are moderate and you'll realize that if they course change it will be to radical.

Fourth they have done nothing to break their echo chamber, say what you want about fart sniffing on the TDS thread but the dems have basically done everything they can to control social media.
