Most people in this thread are already very aware of the issues surrounding serious litigation. No one is impressed that you're skeptical of Hansen's motivations or the possibility that anything comes from this.

The wetlands saga just keeps getting better and better. Can't wait for the next big report from the county as this and any other neighbor reports will be in it. I think it was @Jet Fuel Johnny talking about how the county can send out all sorts of people to test what's been going on with the land, which can enormously increase the cost of rehabilitation. Given that onion has ignored county instructions and now counteracted them hopefully they'll send someone.

The prosecution is likely taking things as slow as possible because they want this to be rock solid... They probably want to be sure they have all the evidence they need, all the testimony they can put together, as many witnesses as they can, etc.

Yeah I really hate to be the bearer of bad news to some folks in the thread but the Investigation Discovery shows are not indicative of how real life investigations, arrests, and court proceedings are.

They don't do all of the investigative work, get all these witnesses, find the "Aha!" piece of evidence, arrest him, and send him to prison within two weeks. Those shows are edited for time.
