Holy fuck, what the hell? That's fucking horrific; I'm really sorry you had to see that, and I'm disgusted that someone would post that shit for shock value. Those are real fucking children. The idea of it makes me absolutely nauseated.

It's a good thing the mods acted fast and deleted it before anyone could show it on the stream, but Jesus fuck, imagine the fucking mess if it hadn't been caught in time and one of the streamers had shown it live? The thought of that actually terrifies me, for a bunch of reasons. Whoever uploaded that shit is a fucking monster, point blank.

If someone's brazen enough to not only access CP and have it saved to their computer, but to also upload it to the booru with no shame, chances are they've got a few proxies to hide behind. The IP ban is unfortunately only so effective; we can only hope that the person doesn't try it again. And I really hope that the mods documented the image and sent it to the proper channels before they got rid of it.

Do you think it'll be addressed publicly, or do you think this'll be a Joel getting hacked type situation where the streamers and mods all agree to never talk about it again?

I highly, highly doubt anyone will say a word publicly. Way too sensitive of a topic and would basically be telling people that anything can be put on the booru; for a few minutes, anyways.

I don't think I could ever recall another time in recent memory where people uploaded CP explicitly on the booru, but I don't think this issue is going to close off the booru for good. If it was a frequent raid of that kinda thing, then I could see where the segment could be axed.

It's smart to keep hush about that subject on the streamers and mods' end of the rope. They can acknowledge it amongst themselves in regards of how to handle that kind of incident in the future, but honestly we don't need to bring more attention to it publicly or invite more freaks onto the booru with that shit unless it gets severe (which doesn't sound likely imo). Godspeed to whichever mod/streamer/person had to see that and remove it.

Regardless of intent of whoever posted the pics in the first place, it's ultimately at the expense of children that have been traumatized and abused, and that's absolutely disgusting.

I agree. Even if it was a raid, they would probably just close the booru then open it back up once they felt it's safe to. Feel it'd be much easier (and less likely to cause panic amongst the community) if the booru was "down for repairs" for a while instead of "closed for good due to CP raid".

Yeah. Just the knowledge that those images exist disgust me more than the fact that they were posted on a public site. Really hope those children are okay now, or are going to be okay... Well, they'll never be okay, so, hope that they're in the arms of someone who really loves them, to tell them that it'll be alright.

I'm admittedly a bit interested in who on Earth would find Vinesauce of all things worth a potential FBI raid for a quick giggle. There's no politics, no twitter "politics", no real controversy besides people being too concerned with where streamers are putting their dicks...I can't really imagine a reason anyone would become so upsetti spaghetti they'd try and stick that vile shit somewhere related to Vinesauce.

Then again, it's possible it was just some "le epic internet troll doing it FOR TEH LULZ XD". I don't know which would be worse, honestly. Fuck. Poor goddamn kids.

Same. I feel horrible that I'm curious but, it be like that. Almost upset that I couldn't make it to the post in time to see the tags, though, it's probably for the best. Was already bad enough seeing the thumbnail.

Edit: Also clicking on it would've probably put me on some FBI watch list, so, definitely better that I didn't.

I'm pretty sure making an account here put you on one anyway (albeit a very well-made one with frills on the edges), but I'd prefer the timeline where you didn't further expose yourself to such things.

Sad truth is awful people do shit like this all the time and get away with it, scot-free. Hopefully this scumbag makes a mistake down the line and gets bagged.

I meant the watch list. Though if you find out how to put frills on your account, let me know, I'd love to trick mine out with some bad ass skeletons.
 
I haven't watched Vinny in a while but that looks pretty much like the antithesis of the shit he would normally play, did him doing Dragon Quest fuck with his anime radar or something?

Imagine an alternate timeline where instead of Vinny reviewing the art, he hires people to review art for him; similar to how he has guest editors on the stream highlights on youtube... no thanks. How he has the patience for certain art on the booru is beyond me, but impressive.

Fingers crossed that people don't make weird self-insert valentines art tonight.

From what he said it sounds like someone recommended it to him and he was in the mood for a portable dungeon crawler. It would probably be entertaining as a brainless monster whacking game to play on the go if it wasn't 50 bucks.
