When you engage with or mock Social Justice long enough, you eventually gain an immunization to their brand of exceptionalism. For instance, I've become numb to anyone attempting to lecture me on privilege. Eight years ago, I thought that would've been the end of it. Yet, with each passing year, it seems as though Social Justice finds new ways to amaze. For instance, "White privilege" is now blasé, now it's
"White people aren't human" or
"We need to end racism and fascism by taking away white people's civil rights and aggressively discriminating against them, because that's not at all racist or fascist!" Each time Social Justice has evolved, our mental immune systems have evolved with it to defend ourselves against stupid. It's just that Social Justice stupidity has evolved so much over the years that to anyone seeing them for the first time, it'd probably be akin to sensory overload.
I don't know how long you've been watching Social Justice mutate into the monstrosity it's become today, but I've been observing their behavior for nearly a decade now. This shit is
far from normal, but for those of us who've been long-time observers, it's almost like taking small amounts of poison to gain an immunity to it.
