New comic
It’s special contact lenses because she’s special. What the fuck is with the yellow demon eyes? Is whoever the fuck that is trans-Satan? Or is it something racist?
Three panels, no punchline, and more white space than drawing.
I think this child should focus on sorting out their jaundice before playing around with troon shit. Priorities, you know?
It looks like Theodore is looking at the reader or reading off a cue card.
And there is no context. Not within the comic, anyway. The only reason we know they’re contacts is because Labelle explained it outside of the strip. It’s special contact lenses because she’s special.
I love how the eyes always look weird with no context.
Labelle really has no idea how teenagers work. They love being outsiders. Look at goths, emos, punks - there’s nothing a teenager wants more than to be different and exciting, to suffer in a cool and sexy way.Yes, Billy, it can be seen as "trendy" and "cool" even if you try to paint a sad story. It's all about those sweet, sweet oppression points and the chance to act like a righteous cunt to anyone - and get away with it in some places.

Even in real life, they would get loads of comments from people that would go “Dude, what the fuck are wrong with your eyes?”Also keep in mind that this is a teenager who goes around wearing weird cat eye contacts in public just to seem special. They're definitely considered an outsider and That Kid already.
Labelle understands teenagers perfectly, he never matured past that age. He just denies it because it goes against his narrative. It's really perfect how much each wannabe edgy trend mirrors each other. Same as any other edgy movement, troons want you to believe that they are miserable because the world is against them, not because of their own mentality. They want you to believe they are unique and special, even though they do the same things as everyone else.Labelle really has no idea how teenagers work. They love being outsiders. I love how Labelle thinks that two fictional characters having a fictional conversation that Labelle wrote somehow disproves the existence of trenders.View attachment 1140349
Wait is this an edit lol? If not this is definitely the funniest yet. Comparing transgender trend to being a flat earther is a bit on the nose...

Just imagine Labelle working as Ronald McDonald and explaining gender diversity.
Stephie is not the school counsellor, I can’t imagine it’s a good idea for cat-eyed kid to talk to a fellow 13 year who’s likely going to encourage him to troon out no matter what instead of talking to an actual professional about a dramatic life changing decision.
We all know the counselor would say the same thing. The comic's purpose is not to entertain, but rather, to indoctrinate.Stephie is not the school counsellor, I can’t imagine it’s a good idea for cat-eyed kid to talk to a fellow 13 year who’s likely going to encourage him to troon out no matter what instead of talking to an actual professional about a dramatic life changing decision.
