Alright, let me go over this. Because of his long history of being overweight and having diabetes, he's having major circulation issues. Blood is pooling up in his legs and it isn't being circulated out. The blood in his legs are highly de-oxygenated, which is why they're so dark. They're extremely large because fluid is pooling up in this area due to gravity and the inability of the heart to pump properly. It could also be an indication that his heart is struggling with circulation as well, as edema and poor blood flow in the extremities is indicative of congestive heart failure.

These aren't simple bruises because it affects the entirety of the calf, nor does it look like there is any underlying healing or discoloration. Everything is an even color. Boogie is obviously lying. Bruises discolor as they heal because of the blood under the skin being broken down. Bruises are also never evenly created. This also would not explain the equal amount of swelling and edema in both of the lower extremities as well as the identical coloration.

This is a result of poor circulation, de-oxygenation and vascular damage caused by diabetes. The problem is that if he gets any cuts or wounds on his legs or feet, he is at very serious risk of gangrene because of the level of de-oxygenation that he possesses. They won't be able to heal properly. He is in very serious denial and at risk for amputation in the next few years if he gets any sort of major infection.
