the only reason he went after jinny was because he was petty over her not working for his con. Shane needed her and her connections to get setup and probably get funded.
Jinny refused and then Shane went to manjaw to "tell" on her. 2 possibility, he was assmad or maybe a last ditch effort to get to side with him if he "stops the crusade".

The only positive effect she had was to make us laugh at her for her own stupidity. I mean, when even Shane is clearly trying to distant himself from her, that should say something.
Speaking of Shane, I couldn’t care less if either him or Jinnie had their reputation tainted. Seeing the circus that has unfolded is wonderful karma for their bullshit behavior this past year.

I think he regrets his life choices. He spent several months telling Jinnie one thing and Lynn another. Lynn forced his hand by leaking their DMs, and in a moment of frustration, he went all in on Jinnie. That was a mistake. Jinnie has connections in the industry. She could've helped him with his convention. He chose to partner with a crazy person and that's gone exactly as people said it would.

The jaded, cynical side of me thinks this was all theater. I have a hard time that a lefty edgelord like Shane Holmberg would not have supported Bernie Sanders in 2016.
Then again, the opportunistic and pandering Hillary Clinton would fit more with Shane's personality.
