I feel like if Pewdiepie ever voiced sympathy to him we would know because Onion would never let go of those coattails. Pewdiepie has always been bigger than Onion, aside from when he was just starting out (sometimes we forget how "ancient" in terms of YouTube Onion actually is).

I guess it's possible in the early days of his channel Pewdiepie might have referenced him in a way that could be seen as positive and that video has been buried with time, but that would have been at a time when Onion wasn't outed as being such a giant waste of oxygen and was just seen as an edgy weirdo to non-fans.

Pewdiepie did say something recently that many assumed was an indirect reference to Onion, as It's Ya Boi Skinny Hunter said above, but it was of course negative.

I know the images are old, my intentions were to show that they have 100% burned literal garbage in the past. Considering we're talking about a low IQ waterhead, it's safe to assume he's still doing it now since he did it before.

TurboTax is actually a fairly decent application for calculating taxes. The problem is it isn't idiotproof. You still have to know what can and can't be deducted legally.
Say I buy a house and donate it to charity. That can be written off and deducted, at least partly. But if I'm LIVING in the house I can't deduct it as a "business expense". But TurboTax doesn't know the difference. It's up to the user to know the difference. And Grug was stupid enough to try and deduct things that can't legally be deducted, like his home (which he tried to deduct because he films his shitty videos there), a wedding ring, his entire divorce costs, meals with friends, etc..
TurboTax doesn't say "Hey now, you live in that house, thus it's not a business expense!" and stop you from doing autistic shit.
Guarantee you if Grug filed his taxes the traditional way he still would have been audited for trying to deduct non-deductible assets because he's a fucking idiot.
