I mean there's not really any reason to assume that this was anything other than just a random arbitrary decision by some YouTube moderator in Malaysia or something. Following that first ban, any clip channels will be more vulnerable to deletion than they would have been previously, and those who dislike Fuentes will be enthused to report them.

Dawson has a following across the online right-wing sphere. He's an autistic lolbertarian that focuses on foreign policy. He does interesting work, whether people agree with or not, he does a lot of research and cites his sources, usually leaning on government documents. He did a FOIA request to get the picture of the Dancing Israelis.

Him being able to get widespread support across right-wing subcultures (lolbertarians, wignats, amnats, right-wing weebs, etc) that hate each other is rare. I think it's because despite being a sperg, he's fair and doesn't try to misrepresent people's views. He's able to disagree with someone on a point and not get hung up on it.

He doesn't get into drama like the Killstream does. He tries to always be substantive. He BTFO Destiny on foreign policy so badly that Destiny was trying to learn from him.

He's also a weeb that moved to Japan after George Bush was elected for a second term and has a Jap wife too.
