From the moment they got “caught” to the last person finally landing in jail, it was several years. The Feds do not like to lose. They have all the time in the world, and they will use it in order to score a conviction.

They will usually work hard to collect evidence of every single wrong doing in order to have bargaining power with the accused - it gives them some leeway in a plea deal.

Meh, would the interview change something though? Greg has been posting every single detail about his relationships online even before YouTube was a thing. As recently as three years ago, he would make videos about the girl he had sex with in high school. There are no secret, all what the girls are telling to Hansen has been on the internet for years, and it's making noise simply because people are catching up to how truly horrible everything related to it is.

As someone here pointed out, I think that the FBI is working on building a sex trafficking case: the girls that were brought to the house in the last years went there because they wanted to be with Taylor and ended up having sex solely with Greg after a few initial interactions with the both of them. They all are around the same age range, they all were flown in and paid to be there (for "editing", but it's known that Greg used to give Taylor an allowance), they all were told that Greg wanted to get them pregnant, and were to be punished if they did not respect Greg's wishes.

They were all chosen, transported, and sexually exploited. I really think there are the basis for a sex trafficking case against him.

Literally no one is doubting the existence of an investigation anymore (except maybe you) as Ed Troyer, the Public Information Officer with the Pierce County Sheriff's Department, confirmed a collaborative investigation between his department and the FBI. You should really watch that interview if you haven't already.

It's really hard for me to understand about what the fuck are you going about, but I'm going to assume that you're saying that incorrectly guided intervievs may collide with actual testimony and therefore make it useless. There's clearly an investigation happening, and I have yet to see anyone else express skepticism on that front.
