Her cycling used to work because as someone that was unknown, people would stumble upon her channel and they would genuinely think that she was serious about losing weight. She would attract different types of supporters depending on the diet she was "attempting". When she would go vegan, she would attract vegans. When she said that she would do keto, she would attract keto supporters and, so on and so forth. Now, she has pissed off too many people and they either ignore her, hatewatch or react to her as no one is fooled anymore. The only supporters left are as she loves to say: the lowest common denominator.

It's 1988. I was surprised myself. I thought she was more near my mother's age (even with the tons of make up she puts on for videos) than my age. Some people have unfortunate genetics. The dead stare didn't help either.

But then again most fatties look a lot older than they are. A small amount of fat can make you look younger (less haggard) but obesity makes you look 20 years older. I think it's because people naturally get fatter with age. Chantal now looks like a matrushka doll at best and like a fat babushka at worst. Let's be fair, Chantal never said she was in the process of completely her Mathematics degree she may not know how to calculate age from a birth year.
