Ok, so its been a year since I read it last, but if I remember correctly what actually happens is the character this guy's talking about leads the main character on for the entire story. The main character thinks the guy is a woman, and the guy thinks the main character is into dudes. In reality the guy is just really affeminate and the main character mistakes him for a woman because he has longer hair and is asian. When he finds out he's been trying to fuck a dude, the main character is disgusted by the faggotry on display and his magic sword blows up and kills everyone. There's zero mention of troon shit in the book, although I do find the idea of Peter David being so offended by troons that he wrote a book in 2005 where a crippled bastard murders an entire city because of one extremely funny.
