I get where you're headed with this analogy... but you are aware that there are reasons to think that the 2008 McCain campaign was thoroughly subverted by the Georgian government, yes?

That's also why I'm more than a little worried about all the Saudi money in US politics. US politicians are not only whores, but they are cheap whores who will move heaven and earth for what, relative to the US economy and importance, is pennies. Shiites and Sunnis are killing each other over who the fuck knows what... and now I'm seeing bullshit on NPR that I'm pretty sure they're parroting from Al-Jazeera on why it's a moral imperative that I care.

While we're on the topic, I don't think Russians could easily subvert the American consciousness. Russian wit leans more towards the epigrammatic and laconic. Russians can do black humor and satire very well, but their attempts at the inspirational always come off as ham-fisted and insincere. Americans think, argue and believe in sweeping ideals. I think that Russian history has largely traumatized the people there into being economic with their ideals.

That is concerning, but again, that's a far cry from having a entire bloc of congress critters who vote in in lock-step crossing party lines with Georgian interests, when advancing those interests runs counter to those of US. Georgia also isn't building a wall to keep out undesirables while having prominent members of the Georgian Orthodox Church use their connections to Georgian-run Academic Departments and Georgian-Owned media companies to denounce the US trying to secure its border.

I don't want to go full Stormer Das Juden, but the jews have a long history of inserting themselves inside other cultures and influencing them while maintaining their own cultural identity (and in some cases, being forced by the outside to maintain their own cultural identity). Comparing Russians and Jews on subversion is like comparing Brazilians and Gypsies when it comes to petty graft; The former are inexperienced even through they've made great strides, the later are pros who's survival has relied on that skill for centuries, to the point where these concepts are practically ingrained into their DNA; they aren't even in the same league.

Saudi money concerns me less; the Saudis and the US are in something that is a cross being a mutually beneficial relationship and a mexican standoff, which is a little off balance thanks to the Dakotas.

I mean I'm not familiar with the website at all like I said it just came up while searching for that segment. Is it wrong though?

Edit: a little run-off from the Bernie Bro thread that didn't quite fit.
Probably; this is the website that stanned for Christopher Monckton, a man who is such a dishonest snake there's a nice five part video series on how he's lied about the following:

1. Being a science advisor to Margaret Thatcher (she attributed a different guy, and never mentioned him btw in her book).
2. Writing a scientific paper; lolno it was an advisory piece from a layman.
3. Melting more than freezing is happening in Greenland, he just cherry picked the upper plateaus.
4. Ignored several mountains losing parts of their snow caps in the Himalayas for the one that gained in it.
5. Holy shit much much more (this and the next five videos).

I also very clearly remember the site effectively rigging any debate between the the guy I linked with Monckton in the same way creationist youtubers like Nephilimfree would do it; give unreasonable demands and refuse to let the other side speak as much as possible.

Just because Climate Doomers are the new tard (and rightfully so btw) doesn't mean that the guys mocking them aren't retarded too.

Potholer is a lunatic and shouldn't be trusted to tell anyone the truth. Monckton may have inflated his role in Thatcher's government but he was right about Greenland. There has not been a major loss of icepack on Greenland's ice sheet since the Medieval period. Since satellite measurements of ice thickness began in the early to mid 1970s, Greenland has never lost ice. The lowest ice gain was 38 billion tons in 2011-2012, with every other year resulting in a net gain of at least more than 180 billion tons of ice per year and an average of 350 billion tons per year. Using those satellite measures here is a table of the surface mass balance (ice added minus ice removed by all processes, including glacial calving) in Greenland, which look like this:

(I got this courtesy of the Danish Meteorological Institute)

There was a slight decline in the growth of Greenland ice, but no melting at all, let alone severe melting like the news would have you believe.

I spoilered my post so as not to derail too much, but you've got to take a critical eye to that stuff especially from "debunkers." You should know from this thread how much cognitive dissonance people can get in their heads to let them attack anyone with a view outside the global media consensus.

It's almost like this topic is super complex and both sides have a problem with their puny meat brains being unable to comprehend the full scale of all possible relevant data...

that's because they've become used to receiving H1B visas for the past 3 decades and it looks like those numbers might not go down [paywalled btw]
DOW dropped 900 points due to Corona virus kicking China's butt. If you look in the twitter tag, tho', people are reeing about how Trump in it.
the guy on the throne is always blamed for everything that happens. same reason why the average american is blamed for everything out of their control as well. it's just easier on the brain.

They can't control Bernie
Nigger all they had to do last time was to open up the wallet for the rebel to start endorsing their candidate

Bet my ass the man had an ear to ear grin as he walked out of the bank with that cash, and is anxiously waiting for the dems to set up the table again

"Whoops, sorry guys. Nothing i could do. Thanks for the donations!"

Also it's getting out more that Trump is ousting all sorts of opponents of his in the government, making some neocons and libs have a good cry.

"I think it's a very positive development," said Rich Higgins, who served on Trump's National Security Council in 2017. H.R. McMaster removed Higgins after he wrote a memo speculating that Trump's presidency faced threats from Marxists, the "Deep State," so-called globalists, bankers, Islamists, and establishment Republicans. (This was long before the full scope of the FBI's Russia investigation was known to Trump and his aides.)
...
The Jessie Liu memo: Shortly before withdrawing the nomination of the former D.C. U.S. attorney for a top Treasury role, the president reviewed a memo on Liu's alleged misdeeds, according to a source with direct knowledge.
  • Ledeen wrote the memo, and its findings left a striking impression on Trump, per sources with direct knowledge. Ledeen declined to comment.
  • A source with direct knowledge of the memo's contents said it contained 14 sections building a case for why Liu was unfit for the job for which Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin selected her, including:
    • Not acting on criminal referrals of some of Justice Brett Kavanaugh's accusers.
    • Signing "the sentencing filing asking for jail time" for Gen. Michael Flynn (a friend of Ledeen's).
    • Holding a leadership role in a women's lawyers networking group that Ledeen criticized as "pro-choice and anti-Alito."
    • Not indicting former deputy director of the FBI Andrew McCabe.
    • Dismissing charges against "violent inauguration protesters who plotted to disrupt the inauguration."

Group called Groundswell is having a lot of these people panicked, the group having been around since Obama days and meeting at Judicial Watch offices back then at least. They've been putting together memos just mentioning some of the shit these snakes have gotten up to so that Trump would oust them or not appoint them to positions.

All the spooks and snakes having even tried getting Trump in trouble over a phone call asking another country to investigate corruption in their own country has probably gotten him feeling there's no reason to hold back at this point. Still find it interesting though how little attention is given to the Republicans in the senate working against Trump.

According to data compiled by Kathryn Dunn Tenpas, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, turnover among what she calls Mr. Trump’s “A team,” meaning his senior staff, has hit 82 percent, more in three years than any of the previous five presidents saw in their first four years. Moreover, the Trump administration has been notable for a high level of serial turnover, with 38 percent of the top positions replaced more than once.

“Many key departments and White House entities have been hollowed out,” Ms. Tenpas said. The president has thus been left with acting officials in many key areas. “He seems completely unbothered,” she said. “He claims that actings give him flexibility, but fails to see that temporary leaders cannot advance his policies nearly as well as a Senate-confirmed appointee who has the stature and all the powers to do so.”

While some of the reliance on acting officials owes to a dysfunctional Senate confirmation process, Mr. Trump seems to prefer to keep senior advisers on edge as to whether they will keep their job. Mick Mulvaney, his acting White House chief of staff, a position that does not require Senate confirmation, is finishing his 14th month with an “acting” in front of his title for no reason that has ever been publicly articulated and he may be forced out without ever having been granted the full title.

Whole reason Trump got stuck having to use so many 'acting' officials was it was the only way to get anyone even vaguely on his side into a position due to senate Republicans not being willing to either appoint his people or just let the Senate go on to recess so he could do recess appointments.

Don't Black People and Latinos also own dogs? This stupid bitch makes no sense

We can but no matter what type of dog we get it becomes a pit or a rottweiler. Causes some pretty akward situations like once I was watching my friends Toy Poodle for the weekend, I left for the gym and when I came back it was a 90 pound pit.

I don't know if the arguments are so simple because people use twitter to debate and there is a character limit or if the parties endorse it so the average follower doesn't argue. I mean when your argument is "I believe in science" it's impossible to debate it and whoever spouts it rarely knows what they are talking about so authorities get to control what is and isn't real.

DOW dropped 900 points due to Corona virus kicking China's butt. If you look in the twitter tag, tho', people are reeing about how Trump in it.

Weird how it's always Trump's fault when it's down but never related to him when it's up.

Hell even the radio hacks have been blaming the drop on the coronavirus since anything else isn't even vaguely believable, twitter's reaching so hard on this one they must have taken a bite of the Gum-Gum.

So how is Warren's plan for getting the Dem nomination working out? Not so good, huh? But I'm sure her coronavirus plan is better... /sneed

Wait, Cnn was bitching about the corona virus task force being to white like a month ago.

I mean there is being wrong and then their is being so wrong that CNN disproves you.

Bernie actually probably could fight well against The Donald. Just like he probably would have done better against Trump in 16 - or at least would have actually campaigned in the Rust Belt, the states in which voted for Trump under the slimmest of margins. But that's why he won't win, because the Dems WANT to lose so that they can keep getting their money from their paypigs, money to set up "ngos" where they can install their people.
