If that actually gets to a reliable point of stability it could be a huge new type of event, similar to the unlocked streams but more personal and with a lower amount of viewers so it would be more intimate.
Probably cheaper because the celebrities don't have to travel to the convention, both in how much they would be payed and extra expenses from the con. Don't see it as something that would take over instead of personal appearances but it could be something celebrities do during working weeks or dead weeks if they can't travel.
