Red Lung is a fucking awesome name. Pretty sure you also cough up blood from this so hey, double meaning.
Depends on what cheap means.
You can stock up on Sardines, Ramen, Tuna, etc for like $0.11 per serving. That will get you through a couple weeks for under $100. Also get the 5 gal water bottles, just make a wall of them for whatever may come. You could need to boil your own water, those jugs can be used to capture condensation.
I bought 2,000 high-end MREs at the start of this for $4 per serving. This covers the people I care about for a month.
What you really want to stock up on is guns. Food is no good if your neighbors can steal it. Figure out what the gun laws are in your area and buy whatever has the shortest waiting period along with as much ammo as possible. I'm not a gun guy, but I understand Chinese-made AKs are very popular right now. There's a secondary market of people buying metal plates for rifle butts and bayonet holders that fit them popping up in various places.
The US Army published a Survival Guide in the 1940s which is excellent. Find a paper copy and tuck it away just in case you lose Internets. Covers survival food and capturing fresh water, which are necessary if you need to rough it. You should probably make sure you have a tent and a sleeping bag while you're at it.
Really using antibiotics for a virus will do shit other than make your immune system more compromised by killing the good flora and having yeast take over. The best bet if you can't go to the hospital with wu flu is to rest and drink as much water as possible. Point is its just stupid to take antibiotics with a virus.Self-diagnosing and self-treating with antibiotics or any prescription drug is not clever. We have doctors and pharmacists for a reason - these subjects are complicated, generally require education you do not have and people acting wilfully naive like peasants in various third world shitholes and just self-diagnosing/self-dosing with the attitude of 'oh that drug there, I know that name' and gobbling down some without any real knowledge of what they're doing, appropriate dosage, side-effects, drug interactions, contraindications for pre-existing conditions or even if they actually have what they think they have is what leads to both antibiotic resistance and poor individual health outcomes. It's like buying meds online from India or elsewhere because they'e cheaper, you really have no idea what you're doing or what you're buying.
If it makes you feel better it sounds close to corvid, the scientific family name for crows. That's tangentially related to murder (red lung kicks ass tho).I want to take a moment to mention how much I hate the name "covid-19". Its the sort if name a committee of commies would call something. If i am going to die, I want it to be by something with a bitching name like the "Black Death".
Corona-chan is probably Brazil now. They're still waiting for the confirmation of the second test.

“NEW: Brazil's Health Ministry says a man has tested positive for coronavirus in an initial test, but they're waiting for results from a 2nd test. If confirmed. it would be South America's first case”twitter.com
COVID-19 has already surpassed the death tolls of SARS and MERS, over 2,000 people as this is written, with little signs of abating. Still, that pales in comparison with the CDC estimates of 26 million illnesses from flu, resulting in 250,000 hospitalizations and 14,000 deaths from flu in the United States alone.
And even the WHO director-general seemed frustrated that so much attention was being paid to COVID-19. He began his Feb.11 briefing on the coronavirus with a reminder: “Although the world is now focused on coronavirus, we cannot and must not forget Ebola,” which has surged in Africa and which has a much higher fatality rate than COVID-19.
So why is so much attention being paid to COVID-19? First, because it’s new, and spreading. But as Max Fisher wrote in the New York Times, COVID-19 “hits nearly every cognitive trigger we have.” Its novelty and the uncertainty around it override the recognition that other diseases, including flu, are far more endemic and dangerous. He likens the reaction to that after a plane crash, when people shun flying even though a crash is an anomaly and flying is overwhelmingly safe.
And social media spreads the rumors, fake cures, and other untruths that we won’t link to, but include words like “genocide” and “Zionist conspiracy.”
Journalists have the responsibility to put things in context. Cover COVID-19 and its effects, be they economic, physical, or social. But acknowledge its place in the pantheon of disease. Reporting as if it were the end of the world is an epidemic of a different kind.
What about the red death? If it makes you feel better it sounds close to corvid, the scientific family name for crows. That's tangentially related to murder (red lung kicks ass tho).
OMG. They're still around? I remember when they were freaking out about Niburu. Good times. The real poo-flinging doomtards are all at godlikeproductions.com. They make Redditors look calm, thoughful, and sane.

I never found a more kawaii way to die UwUCorona-Chan is a Party animal. She’s not gonna skip Carnival!
Hey janitor Chang, how's things at bio lab? I-Jim wanted a nursery rhyme about Corona-chan:
Take a vial,
Then you smile,
As you tuck into some soup:
Oh no, you’re starting to droop.
You keep sneezing,
You’re barely breathing:
You’re getting very pale,
And now you cross that vale.
Carnival may be a real life interuptation of the masque of the red death.Only if it wears a mask.

San Francisco Mayor London Breed has declared a local emergency amid coronavirus fears.
“Although there are still zero confirmed cases in San Francisco residents, the global picture is changing rapidly, and we need to step up preparedness,” Breed said in a statement Tuesday. “We see the virus spreading in new parts of the world every day, and we are taking the necessary steps to protect San Franciscans from harm.”
While three people have been treated for COVID-19 at San Francisco hospitals, there have been no confirmed cases of the illness in the city.
Breed made the announcement following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s warning that the virus is likely to continue to spread.
“Ultimately, we expect we will see coronavirus spread in this country,” CDC Director Nancy Messonnier said. “It’s not so much a question of if, but a question of when.”
San Francisco’s declaration, effective immediately, will be in place for seven days and will be voted on by the Board of Supervisors on March 3.
The decree will allow the city to allocate resources around coronavirus mitigation efforts. Such efforts include staffing, the coordination of agencies throughout the city, the allowance of future reimbursement by the state and federal governments and increased awareness throughout the city on coronavirus preparation methods.
Santa Clara and San Diego counties have issued similar declarations.
San Francisco’s health officer, Dr. Tomás Aragón, said that decision was based in part on the high volume of travel between the city and Wuhan, China — the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak.
“We are prioritizing children, people who live in congregate settings and vulnerable populations as we plan to reduce the potential for harm from the virus in the community. We have been working closely with the Chinese community, who are so impacted by this situation, and also at risk for stigma and discrimination,” he said.
Breed reiterated the CDC’s call for schools and businesses to prepare for the likely spread of cases and prepare for possible school closures or work-from-home needs.
Messonnier advised parents to talk to schools about the possibility of internet-based learning in the event that COVID-19 were to spread and students needed to refrain from going to school. She suggested businesses think about how to use teleconferencing if employees should need to work from home. And Messonnier said officials would also need to consider whether to cancel large community-based events.
More than 2,600 people have died from the virus, the majority in mainland China. In the United States, there have been 57 confirmed cases; 40 of those are repatriated individuals from the Diamond Princess cruise ship. There are 15 confirmed cases in California.
Oh they wouldn't do that..theyll probs spend it on more commie legislation while the working poor and homeless die in the streets from this plague.I totally trust them not to embezzle/fuck with the money as the city sinks further into the ocean of needles and shit

São Paulo, for those unfamiliar, has north of 12 million inhabitants, or 21+ million if you count the greater metro.
