She is so attention-deprived and void of human contact that she believed the manager at the gym was truly committed to seeing Chantal succeed - enough that she bragged about it to viewers and forked over another year's worth of membership money - two years in a row. She went on and on about how they truly cared about her at the gym, watched her videos, how the trainer made plans to meet up with her outside of work, how the manager called her at home to encourage her. It was all complete bullshit that she deluded herself into believing, all because a real life human was talking to her and she was entralled.

I will be generous and give Chantal two more visits before she quits.

I really have to strongly disagree. Chantal is ignorant. She's stupid. She's desperate for friends. She wants internet allies. She's lazy about clicking links. She has zero critical reasoning skills. She's self-absorbed. She has a superiority complex.

But she has never said or done anything to suggest she is racist in the traditional sense of the word (I don't accept post-modern definitions of the term as valid). She has uttered no racial jokes. Even when provoked by reaction channels with black hosts (Charlie, Michael B. Petty, the other black chick whose name I forget), she has never made race an issue, no matter how irate she was.

I also think Bibi does count for something. A flat-out racist would not live with Bibi. Her family seems cordial and accepting and pleasant towards Bibi in the few glimpses we've seen, so it doesn't appear Chantal was raised in an environment of racism. She is eager to visit Jamaica, too.

With Chantal, it is always better to attribute the simpler explanation, not the more complex one. She does stupid things, hearts stupid comments, and has stupid followers because she is an abject moron. It is not from racism.

She is pissed off, and tickled pink that there finally is a supportive channel after facing an exponentially growing number of humiliating haydur channels and even a haydur movie. She is too dumb to consider things like context or appearances (when does she ever?).

I will call her every name in the book and probably already have. But I won't tag her with a bogus racist charge. I have enough to work with already.

I can entertain the idea that Chantal was fucking Peetz behind Bibi's back, and even that he found out, but I have a hard time looking at infidelity as the actual reason for the breakup. I got the impression that Bibi's feelings for her, however deep and sincere they might have been initially, had faded entirely for the longest time. Even if he has a thing for fatties, I think there was a point in Chantal's development where it simply got too gross for him, not just physically, but also in terms of personal hygiene, which simply does become a problem when you're that freaking huge. Point being, I go along with those who speculate that they, Bibi and Chin, didn't have any kind of sex life at all anymore (with each other, that is), and that Bibi had also been so emotionally detached from her at the point of the supposed infidelity that she had become an annoying housemate as opposed to a partner. All this is why I would imagine Bibi not even giving much of a shit about her fucking around with Peetz, even if he had a possessive/jealous personality in general, simply because it's been a while since he's felt much of anything for her.

Now, you could point out that it's a bit retarded to speculate this much about someone's state of emotions based on little more than a few video clips of him, but I'm basing my judgment not so much on how he himself behaved whenever she had managed to rope him into her clown show, but on how Chantal's very own "relationship stories" never sounded like there was anything there anymore. Even her delusion-fueled idealizations of their actual day-to-day life made Bibi sound completely emotionally distant from and disinterested in her (thinking of the great "I'm used to it" quote, for example).

What it boils down to is that I could believe that Peetz dicked the whale and that Bibi found out, but if anything, he, Bibi, might have used this as the greatest excuse possible to do something he had intended to do for a long time, with the added bonus of not having to feel like an asshole for abandoning the barren loony blob.

I do happen to think she saw a therapist, because as I've said before, when she pitches bullshit life changes, she's just pitching them to herself and we're eavesdropping. She swallows her own bullshit and doesn't really game her audience; she wanted to see one, so it's not unreasonable to suppose it happened.

What I wonder now is whether or not I think she mentioned YT to the shrink. In another station of The Cycle — the euphoria stage — I think she'd eagerly try to impress this psychologist with grandiose claims about her channel that have little common ground with reality, but considering her life has been careening down a diarrhoea-filled slip 'n' slide of late, and her delusions and caprices are even more richly evident in her channel activity than usual, I suspect she's actually being candid when she says she didn't mention YT. Think about it: if she alluded to any kind of online activity, the shrink could just google her name and see... everything. The shrink is bound by confidentiality, but I think Chinny is too vain to chance a woman she doesn't know, who is obviously more successful and probably thinner than she, finding out about her recent online shenanigans.

I optimistically give it one more session; in the first session, the patient does nearly all the talking while the shrink listens critically. In the next session, if there'll be one, the shrink will very delicately suggest that maybe Chantal isn't the flawless centre of the universe, and then that will be that. It'll be "didn't work for me" if she's in a downswing or "bitch" if she's chimpy that day.


Speaking of downswings: she shouldn't be diagnosed with bipolar of either type. She's not bipolar; there is no chemical flaw in her brain that drives her to cycle the way she does. She's just extremely dumb and conceited. Let me explain:

  • Chinny has her periodic "epiphany" about weight loss when long nights and long mirrors conspire to remind her that she's about two cheesy dogs from dying. She tries to stuff this chiding voice's mouth with food, but it grows too loud sometimes.
  • Chinny immediately "researches" miracle diet solutions that she decides she's going on (or is already on) and becomes euphoric because she's happy that all her problems are solved. This may present as mania, because in her (often vocalised) fantasies, she's already lost the weight and jubilant about it.
  • Chinny continues as normal, eating no differently, but still "on the diet" because she wishes to be on it and to be thought of as being on it. She has to get what she wants all the time, no matter what, which in this case is a) eating whatever she wants and b) losing weight. These things do not work concurrently.
  • After a while, she's unable to reconcile the diet thing with the fact that she's still eating for four and also not rapidly losing weight (like many gigafatties, she demands immediate results on any diet, even when it's fake). At this point, she becomes very angry at herself for having no discipline, and experiences worse-every-time mortal panic. However, because Chantal is a priori not at fault for failure, these emotions are redirected outwards at the haydurs. She will also unfailingly enumerate "reasons" she is completely blameless for not sticking to a diet, and she will accuse the haydurs of "expecting" this and "demanding" that. The haydurs never do any such thing; these are projections of her own self-imposed rules that she breaks every time.
  • We then enter the "downswing" period, where she goes "offline" (i.e. stays online deleting comments but just provides no content) and stuffs her miserable face while wallowing in failure. This is the most candid expression of her basic mental state: depression. I believe the depression diagnosis was accurate.
  • And so on and so forth.

Her symptoms that may present as bipolar are, I posit, symptomatic of her astonishing aversion to any kind of introspection (this being her real problem), and the Greek-tragedy rise and fall of her diet narratives. This holds true whether or not she even saw a psych.

I disagree, nowadays racism gets thrown around over literally fuck all (anyone who spends a moderate amount of time on twitter will know this because every other day there’s a tweet cancelling some random white person over fuck all) and people are getting tired of it. Didn’t like a black contestant on a game show? Racist. Didn’t celebrate a black persons achievements more than the white peoples? Racist. Don’t give a flying fuck about black history month? Absolutely racist.

The word has lost its meaning in this new generation of over sensitive niggers just wanting their ass kissed.

I'm expecting Chantal to pull an Amberlynn Reid within the next month - stating things just didn't work out/the therapist didn't know what she was talking about (i.e. - the therapist wasn't going to enable he/told her some hard truths and Chantal simply can't have that).

If this means that you need to have 25% difference in video and you can't copy/pasta watch video+reaction to it then sure I can see that happening. All the reaction folks have to do is change the intro, change the outro, alter the speed of the video and you crest that 25% transformative video state that falls under fair use. I.e Sargon vs AkitaCorona (whatever her name), H3H3 vs Some other Dude, and various other law suits that have worked their way through the system.

Means these lazy creators are gonna have to put some work into their videos now.

I"m reading Google's new Terms of Service here . I don't see anything that folks are going to need permission from someone to use their full video.

Further digging I found Youtube Terms of Service here. There is a clause that the BigBrainz might be misinterpreting:
