Seems a lot like he's trying to convince himself more than anything.
So wait, the house has been at risk for all these years, but now that he is filing for bankruptcy the house isn't at risk? okay, Phil. :optimistic:

Just the amount of smugness alone deserves an apocalyptic amount of poetic justice. All those years of "Save the House" victim rants and beg-a-thons is now rhetoric of trolls and idiots. Just incredible.
He screwed himself by saying 'I'm being honest' which is his tell for 'I'm lying'.
You really have no idea how bad you've fucked up Phailbert.

Remember: this is the same man who is adamant that going out for dinner costs as much as a home-cooked meal.

Is that before or after his creditors realize that he greatly undervalued his home by using an old Zillow quote and that he has more equity in his home than the homestead exemption?

does anyone know what got updated

It's nearly unfathomable to me just how attached to this house DSP is.

  1. It's not even a good house: it's a middle unit condo.
  2. It's not like he was raised or grew up in this house. He literally picked the first decent place he could find because he wanted to bolt out of CT.
  3. It's not like he has a ton of memories in this house. Leanna is gone, and I don't see him and Kat having a special connection to this house.

The only things I can think of are (1) losing the house is proof of his failure as an adult OR (2) he REALLY needs that gate to feel safe in his own home. Without it, detractors could just pull right up to his front door and start throwing hands I guess.

my autistic guess would be, he thinks it'll cost him another $10,000 to move

Problem is..............his filing bankruptcy is proof of his failure as an adult. :story:

It's just his ego and greed. In the past he has said if he sells/loses the Wakando the detractors "win." Of course he conviently ignores most of the detractors saying to sell the place were actually giving him advice to avoid things like fucking bankruptcy. He feels he deserves the place, that it's owed to him because he sat on his ass playing videogames the past decade.

Probably more so because in the pursuit of sitting on his ass playing videogames he tore down his entire life. Burned every bridge, made himself borderline unemployable, and all he has to show for it is a middle unti condo filled with useless trinkets and two cats that hate him, so if he loses that what was the point?

Aaaaaw, Phillypilly. Poor boy. We ALL know that you're going to lose the house, despite your delusions. It is an inevitability, that neither the Avengers nor your big sweaty muscly dream-men can wrestle off. Remember when you posted these pityful sad-face pictures of yourself after Leanna escaped your goutsphere? We're all looking forward to the next batch from your parent's cellar.

Him having to go to mixer would be the greatest timeline.

The poor community managers. They'd get flooded with drama videos / evidence for reasons why they shouldn't accept Dave as a new addition. Then again, he could do a Fortnite co-op with Ninja while being there. IF he agrees to colour his hair (well at least what's left of it).

Phil has reiterated there is zero chance of him losing the house.

If he gets Chapter 7, which he filed for, he will lose the house. As has been noted from multiple sources, his home equity is worth more than the homestead exemption. A lot more. What he claimed on the filing is a lie. And this will certainly be verified.

But he won't get Chapter 7. He must know this, otherwise he wouldn't be so confident. Or he's just a complete idiot and believes his own bullshit.
