Vic - supposedly a rapist for years yet there's no complaints against him aside from online shitposting, never banned from a convention for behavior, responded to allegations and apologized for any undue offenses made, colleagues continue working with him despite the alleged misconduct, lost tons of cons and gigs after allegations went mainstream and continues to be attacked
Vic detractors - "people didn't speak out because of how powerful he was"
Sabat - alleged to have a casting couch, proven to have a sense of humor that KV would otherwise pretend to be offended by, has actual power at more than one company, has attacked Vic for his faith and personality, never addresses controversies, applies the sacred lotion whether you want it or not
Vic detractors - "No one speaks out against Sabat because there's nothing to speak out against!"
The fucking guy with actual power and influence has allegations against him and it doesn't occur to Vic haters that the logic they use should imply that Sabat has potentially victimized people and they're too afraid to speak up.
But they don't really give a shit about anyone, so no one should be surprised.
