It's a very friendly and welcoming site. Genuine anger between members is frowned upon, so all insults are generally made in jest and can be as absurd as you'd like.

The community. Smaller (relatively speaking) internet forums like this are something I greatly prefer over huge social media sites. You recognize people, you make friends, you can have your say without being banned or censored for wrongthink. You're not just another poster in a sea of millions. It feels like the old communities you'd see on forums back in the late 90s/early 2000s and I've always missed those.

Making fun of cows is good stuff as well, but I'd still hang around even if those boards were closed. Lot of good people here I just like bullshitting with. Can't get that on shitholes like Reddit or Facebook.
