Imma bet either she's such an autist as to have literally 0 social skills or she's such a total unrelenting bitch that no sane man would stay in the same room as her for over quarter an hour.
Or it could just be government propaganda.

Kim Jong Un tells officials that they will be dealt with harshly if Coronavirus is not contained kept out of the country:
Kim warns of 'serious consequences' if virus reaches North Korea

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un warned top party officials of the "serious consequences" of failing to prevent an outbreak of the new coronavirus in the country, state media reported Saturday.

The impoverished nation, with a weak and ill-equipped healthcare system, has closed its borders to prevent the spread of the disease into its territory.

Kim told a meeting of the ruling Workers' Party of Korea that the fight against the virus was a "crucial state affair for the defence of the people" that required maximum discipline, according to the official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).

"In case the infectious disease spreading beyond control finds its way into our country, it will entail serious consequences," KCNA quoted Kim as saying.

Two senior officials -- party vice-chairmen Ri Man Gon and Pak Thae Dok -- were sacked, and a party unit disbanded for corruption, the report said, indicating that they may have been involved in graft linked with the anti-epidemic measures.

"No special cases must be allowed," he added, and ordered officials to "seal off all the channels and space through which the infectious disease may find its way".

Pyongyang has not reported a single case of COVID-19, which has killed more than 2,800 people and infected over 84,000 people in dozens of countries since it emerged in neighbouring China.

North Korea has banned tourists, suspended international trains and flights and placed hundreds of foreigners in quarantine to prevent an outbreak. It has also reportedly postponed the new school term.

With loudspeakers blaring hygiene messages, ambassadors locked in their compounds, and state media demanding "absolute obedience", North Korea's anti-coronavirus measures have been described as "unprecedented" by diplomats.

South Korea, meanwhile, is battling a major outbreak of the virus with more than 2,300 cases -- the highest number outside mainland China.

Germany's ambassador to the United Nations has said the Security Council would adopt humanitarian exemptions to the sanctions imposed on Pyongyang over its weapons programmes, and allow the export of equipment to help North Korea fight the coronavirus.

But "the problem is that right now the North Koreans closed the borders," Christoph Heusgen said Thursday after a closed-door Security Council meeting about the reclusive state.

The members of the Security Council called on North Korea "to allow this equipment in. So the population can be protected," he added, without elaborating on the type of equipment.

Come on kim don't nuke Japan. I still haven't visited it yet.

You know what just pisses me off? I keep seeing perishables in those carts and the empty shelves photos are almost always of shit that takes mere days to decompose.

Hey fuckheads! Read the god damned expiration date! I'm betting in a few weeks most of the places where panick buyers got everything are gonna have food poisoning outbreaks from all these fucktards microwaving rotten crap.
Don't but stuff fresh unless you know how to preserve them. Like literally all the shit that I have about to go bad I've either baked fruits into cakes pies and pastry to freeze or made meals out of to freeze. Basically only 25 percent of what I buy is perishable the rest isn't.

Lol, Diseased Coast resulting in Costco runs.
So glad I shop at Sam's with scan n' go. Ain't got no time for doomer lines.

Went to the grocery store this morning, and the only thing that's sold out is the Purell and liquid bleach. Interestingly enough, the store-brand hand sanitizer is all still on the shelf. Has anyone reputable actually come out and said that hand sanitizer is more effective than soap and water?

Depends if the hand sanitizer kills it. For instance it doesn't kill c-dif spores, so in the hospital we use soap and water to wash potential spores off. Everything else is sanitizer, however.

After the coronavirus cases reached 102 cases in France, people are starting to empty all the local markets / supermarkets lanes / shelves :

Shelves in Creil

And Île de France- val d'Oise :

I guess Costco is the only place these people shop.
I did my normal 7am sunday morning run to my new england regional grocery store to get fresh produce and milk/eggs. I figured if the lot was full I would nope the fuck out. I don't really need anything. It looked normal. Inside the normal small group of 70+ year olds doing their shopping. Only thing that stood out was a guy in his 20's that looked like the "doomer" meme. He had a cart full of canned goods and frozen shit.
Zero hand sanitizer but this place doesn't really have a big selection of that normally. All other products looked like normal levels.

State of Illinois Public Health Officials Announce New Presumptive Positive COVID-19 Case In Illinois
29th Feb, 2020

Patient’s presumptive positive test will be confirmed by the CDC

CHICAGO – The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and Cook County Department of Public Health (CCDPH) are today announcing that one Illinois patient has tested positive for COVID-19. The tests conducted in Illinois resulted in presumptive positives for COVID-19. The positive test results will have to be confirmed by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) lab. The patient is hospitalized in isolation and CDC protocols have been implemented.

Public health officials are working to identify and actively monitor individuals who were in contact with the patient in an effort to reduce the risk of additional transmission. The state of Illinois will request CDC deploy a team to Illinois to support these efforts.

Governor JB Pritzker has requested that hospitals across the state implement additional testing to improve surveillance for COVID-19. Illinois was the first state to provide COVID-19 testing and Gov. Pritzker announced two more IDPH labs in central and southern Illinois that will be able to test specimens next week.

Illinois has had two previously confirmed cases of COVID-19 and both patients made a full recovery.

Symptoms reported among patients have included mild to severe respiratory illness with fever, cough, and difficulty breathing. Right now, because the virus has not been found to be spreading widely in the U.S., risk to the general public remains low. Public health officials are encouraging the public to not alter their daily routines and remain vigilant about keeping germs from spreading, by covering coughs and sneezes, washing hands with warm soap and water, and staying home when sick.

I found out O'hare airport is the busiest in the US. What would it mean if got shut down?

Costco is getting hit hard because they are the primary bulk shopping store most middle Americans shop at.

Most smaller chain grocery stores are still relatively well stocked save for hand sanitizer and maybe TP.

Masks are where people are really going to find scarcity. Most Chinese nationals and students did a clean sweep through suppliers a month ago and then resellers went through the rest. As others in this thread have mentioned, hand sanitizer is now around $100 an ounce on online marketplaces.

Don't be suprised if you see people ripping out and stealing sanitizers at cashiers and other hand stations at local stores to sell online. It has hit the price point where its become tempting to price gougers.

Edit: Spelling and grammer since I apparently had a mild stroke originally typing this. Apologies.

it would mean americans would start to realize that supply chain independence might be a good thing in the long run.

lmao just kidding. leftists will complain that it's racist for some reason, right-wingers won't really care, and boomers will complain they can't get to their spring break vacation in southeast asia and that it's very clearly someone else's fault and definitely not theirs.

but seriously it'll trigger another signal for market correction.
cruise lines, airlines, shipping companies are all prime stock buys in the coming weeks/months btw.

Oh man, time to raid the supply room here.

Just take a look at this post I made in the TDS thread. The last response is enough to make me want to give up.

For some reason, I almost expect there to be an interview where this chick then said that she only wishes to give the glorious Chinese Empire 2 healthy sons - one to defend the nation by joining the PLA, the other to make the country prosper by working as a wageslave - and a beautiful daughter, to become the loving wife of the next generation of the only TRUE and HONEST Han Ubermenschen.

So what you're saying is there is not just Corona but a few other vectors leading to the genepool being scrubbed of excess and deadweight?

*laughs in Amazon Prime and Wal-Mart delivery*

Suriving the apocalypse by ordering everything off Amazon Prime must be peak 'murica. The only possible way to increase the amount of 'murica would be to throw in a mobility scooter and an M4.

@Consenticles, El Comandante is in your boat as well. *waves hello* Here in Loonyland Adderall requires an in-person doctor visit every 30 days to renew because some stupid state politicians reeeeeeeeeeee'd the fuck out ages ago about adderall being a gateway drug or some horseshit.

Also, the benzo antipsychotics, fuck yeah I really don't want a fucking psychotic crash, went through one a little over a decade ago when a previous psychdoc fucked up, and it is fucking horrifying. Just look at the severe schizos (fortunately I'm rather mild, at least for now) who take their meds for a while and then drop off and go completely batshit, after a while their brains don't respond to anything and they end up sleeping in doorways and ranting to their imaginary friends on street corners.

And the "key ingredient" to all this shit is made in...you guessed it.

Food is the easy part. What happens when everybody's fucking meds run out? It's not just crazies, you have diabetics who will literally FUCKING DIE without their insulin, you have heart failure patients, you have the guys on dialysis, all the transplantees dependent on antirejection dope, all of it made in China. What with the way our civilization has gone, I suppose it was inevitable that something like this would come along to wipe out all the exceptionals.
