A transgender girl accused of assaulting two students at a Texas high school alleges that she was being bullied and was merely fighting back

Shocking video shows a student identified by police as Travez Perry violently punching, kicking and stomping on a girl in the hallway of Tomball High School.

The female student was transported to the hospital along with a male student, whom Perry allegedly kicked in the face and knocked unconscious.

According to the police report, Perry - who goes by 'Millie' - told officers that the victim has been bullying her and had posted a photo of her on social media with a negative comment.

One Tomball High School parent whose daughter knows Perry said that the 18-year-old had been the target of a death threat.

'From what my daughter has said that the girl that was the bully had posted a picture of Millie saying people like this should die,' the mother, who asked not to be identified by name, told DailyMail.com.

When Perry appeared in court on assault charges, her attorney told a judge that the teen has been undergoing a difficult transition from male to female and that: 'There's more to this story than meets the eye.'

Perry is currently out on bond, according to authorities.

The video of the altercation sparked a widespread debate on social media as some claim Perry was justified in standing up to her alleged bullies and others condemn her use of violence.

The mother who spoke with DailyMail.com has been one of Millie's most ardent defenders on Facebook.

'I do not condone violence at all. But situations like this show that people now a days, not just kids, think they can post what they want. Or say what they want without thinking of who they are hurting,' she said.

'Nobody knows what Millie has gone through, and this could have just been a final straw for her. That is all speculation of course because I don't personally know her or her family, but as a parent and someone who is part of the LGBTQ community this girl needs help and support, not grown men online talking about her private parts and shaming and mocking her.'

One Facebook commenter summed up the views of many, writing: 'This was brutal, and severe! I was bullied for years and never attacked anyone!'

Multiple commenters rejected the gender transition defense and classified the attack as a male senselessly beating a female.

One woman wrote on Facebook: 'This person will get off because they're transitioning. This is an animal. She kicked, and stomped, and beat...not okay. Bullying is not acceptable, but kicking someone in the head. Punishment doesn't fit the crime.'

Now, gender is something to be questioned and deconstructed. Several countries now punish people for misgendering, and there's an active push to create a whole class of pariahs, shackled to the cause by hormone altering drugs and castrative surgery.

What we're seeing with non-binary is a symptom of all this trouble. Humans are sexual beings. That's nature. Even plants are sexual. Being non-binary just means you declare an intent to be sexless, which is only possible through artificial means (or dying young). It's not a choice to be validated or encouraged. This isn't a go at asexual people, or intersex individuals, everyone acknowledges these people, but they still exist within the gender binary-- just exceptional (in genuine terms) cases.
Non-binary and the assorted tumblr genders stem from the natural adolescent instinct to be unique and exceptional (in kiwi terms). How else do you go a step beyond going from A to B? Go to C! Carve out a 3rd way, even transcend any notions of gender-- even if nobody knows what that means.

Children, disproportionately ones suffering with bipolar disorder, dissociation and autism, are actively encouraged by medical professionals as well as the state to stop puberty and begin life-altering transitions which are very adult, and still very experimental, with a sky high rate of complication. And if the parents object to this, being responsible guardians, there are cases where they have been overridden. The child almost never has the final say in any other scenario but can somehow consent to this? Before they even understand what sex is?

It bothers me because what it actually seems to be doing is experimenting on young people that are already prone to feeling insecure. Plenty of gay kiwis will agree that puberty was a stressful and anxiety-ridden time, but even if you're straight, everybody has issues during adolescence.
Adding expensive, exhaustive surgery into the mix won't improve matters.

It's kind of ironic and sad that the progressive movements of the last 120 years have been all about trying to demonstrate that women can be just as daring and clever and ruthless as men, and men can be just as compassionate and auditory and detail-oriented as women, yet the gender debate has involved funnelling anyone that deviates too far from preconceived gender roles into transitioning.

You know, I'd think if your daughter is stressed about growing breasts, she's either being force fed all that feminist "all men want to rape you" stuff, OR she's being sexually abused and is scared her breasts are gonna make things worse. I don't think sexually or mentally healthy people spend much, if any time thinking about their sexual identity, and to do so at age 11 isn't just unusual, it's alarming. That sort of thing is indicative of sexual abuse at worst and being manipulated at best.

Thinking about your sexual identity at 11 probably isn't that unusual, given (possible) onset of puberty at that age. You're thinking about every aspect of your identity at 11. You don't know who you are, and you're wondering. You're looking everywhere, inside of you and at the outside world, for the answer.

Emphasis on "you don't know who you are" at that age. These sick people encouraging this, obsessed with thinking well of themselves and out-woking the people around them, they're ruining these kids' lives before they've even begun. And they don't care.
