T. Greg Doucette / Thomas Gregory Doucette / greg_doucette / TGDLaw / fsckemall / lawdevnull / TDot - Super Lawyer, Failed Politician, Captain of The Threadnought, Drowning in Debt

A fake republican endorsing a fake Native American. His endorsement reads like a fifth grader telling you why you should vote for his friend for student council president.
Pretty much. Fifth graders usually watch America Rock, right?
lol. She's not gonna fuck you dude. Why do you think anyone cares who you endorse?
You underestimate how highly SJWs think of themselves.

Did Douchette really link a deviantart pist about a list of KickVic that was made in June? I now see that post getting bombarded by these bullies and piranhas
Even penguinfag got in on it, and oddly he's got way more likes on his post than a lot of others. I'm glad he could find some kind of infamy in life, but I worry that the positive reinforcement of this magnitude is detrimental to his mental health.

Ironic that this is probably more attention he'll get than on Twitter.

It would be a shame if his lawsuit was thrown out of California. It will be interesting to see if they stick around for round 2 in North Carolina if they aren't going to get paid.

After reading their response to the motion to dismiss, Mike Dunford was leaning toward the case being dismissed for lack of jurisdiction. He said that it could go either way and that their argument was worth trying because anything can happen in court.

Holy fucking Christ this dumb Tewson bitch. I don't even read Twitter except threads like this and every time she is saying utterly wrong shit. It is not a CDCA case, it is an NDCA case, the same district where the 512(f) rulings come from. It's not hugely relevant, as the judge in this case is no more bound by it than by the CDCA but it it's important context.

Either way it's only persuasive authority, but it seems particularly persuasive, as close to exactly on point as you get, and entirely well reasoned. Incidentally the judge is Vaughn Walker who you might remember from overturning Prop 8 fame. He's generally well regarded.

But I thought this dumb cunt dumbford said not anything can happen in court and judges are robots. Holy hell, Mike quit acting like you’re this fucking stupid. Unless you are.

Jesus.

New document from the defendants in Doucette's lawsuit. The parties are jointly asking the court for a two-week extension of time to file the reply to the opposition to the motion to the dismiss because they are currently engaged in settlement negotiations.

Im curious if douchette is the one that approached with a settlement. Trying to get a paycut because the GFM isnt gaining enough traction and the jurisdictional issue is bogus to begin with. Maybe he hopes the SCV will give in to a low amount so neither has to pursue the lawsuit further.

It would have to be some stupidly low number for the SCV to agree. This case is going to be dismissed or best case for Greg sent to NC.

Is this the part where I chuckle smugly to myself because the defendants are getting scared?
If they reach a settlement I assume the previous ruling that Vic will pay $200,000 in lawyers' fees will be invalidated (unless it's part of the settlement). It's better for Vic for this to end right now with the defendants retracting their statements and not claiming fees from him.

@AnOminous would it be possible for Vic accept a settlement from Jaime, while rejecting MoRonica and Funimation's settlements since they're all named in the same lawsuit?

Edit: I'm blind and borderline retarded.

This has to do with Douchette against the Sons of Confederate Veterans concerning a DMCA strike. Has nothing to do with Vic.

Totally different case.
