When my wife broke her hip (almost a month ago) I was scared shitless as I know what happens after someone has any sort of major operation. Secondary infection. When she was transferred a high rated care home (yea they are going to hear from me and my lawyer) she caught "Type A" Influenza which turned into pneumonia in less than 24 hours from her coughing. Luckily Corona Chan did not do a lap dance on her.Fuck yikes. Latest Aussie case is a woman who works at an aged care facility. There has been one respiratory related death of a patient who has had contact with her: corona status unknown.
Lots of unease as they don't know how this nurse contracted it... I can fucking tell them. What they leave out is the nursing home in question is basically on Macquarie University campus. One of the largest international student unis in Australia. Not just uni services but a major shopping centre and a Woolworths right across the road.
Fucks sake.

95-year-old woman becomes Australia's second death related to coronavirus - ABC News
A 95-year-old resident of a Sydney nursing home where a staff member has been diagnosed with COVID-19 tests positive to coronavirus after her death. NSW now has 22 confirmed cases after five other cases were also confirmed.www.abc.net.au
I finally got her home and she is frail as hell unable to do many things.
Care homes... also known as Sniffs ( because of the smell) are fucking death traps where the old goes to die if no one wants or can't care for them.
Now the hard part begins. Our health care set up is skewed and I can still lose her as she still has the flu virus. This will take an additional 2 to 4 weeks of recovery.
As I have posted previously I am giving the advice on how to take care of your situation concerning a virus situation. There is little to no difference how to tackle the Corona Virus and Type A with proper hygiene and common sense.
You must keep yourself clean.
You must separate your clothing. One for outside and one for inside.
You must keep them separate and wash them separate. My outside clothing after being used is in the garage.
You must dedicate a an area for your outside clothing.
YOU MUST WASH YOUR HANDS WITH A BAR OF SOAP. I use Ivory as it is easy on the hands when you wash them multiple times a day.
ADDDED: You must wipe down your door knobs and places where sick people commonly places their hands on a daily basis.
Avoid large crowds. DO NOT PANIC and be smart with your purchases.
CONTINUE TO GATHER INFORMATION ABOUT THIS SITUATION and make logical deductions, Because we have been damn ass RIGHT on our conclusions.
The world governments do not give one shit about you. ALL THEY ARE CONCERN ABOUT IS THE MONEY... They are holding information from the public. This is one of the few places and the only one that I use now to gather information regardless on what the information pertains to.
It's getting close to a month of having to go to major hot spots where germs grow and shit happens.. So far I have not come down with any illness. I am following those procedures as stated above. I might still come down with a flu but my chances are far lower than doing nothing.
That is why I'm reporting my findings. To give my report on how to survive during cold/flu season where everyone around you is sick.
So my fellow Kiwi's... Use your common sense and stay healthy.
