Funny story. I have a friend who does small casual Smash livestreams and him and another of my friends made fun of those shippers for a few minutes. It later got clipped and the two became a popular subject in the Lucina/Spiderman shipping community for a couple days. They were not happy with him, there may have been a death threat but I forgot. Good times.

I have to laugh at the "it's unrealistic!!" bit- I personally know a couple that has a height difference that's almost exactly like the first pic. The guy is an absolute tree of a man and the girl's kinda on the short side so she only comes up to about his collarbone. Just because it's uncommon doesn't mean it's unrealistic or secretly fucked up. Sometimes a tree just ends up falling for a shortstack, it's not that deep.

I can't look into OP's brain but it's possible he/she is talking about that thing some gay ship fanartists do where a couple that's normally about the same height is drawn with the bottom being smaller and way younger looking than in canon and this is often accompanied by the bottom suddenly being turned into a kawaii uguu moeblob who blushes and cries all the time even if his canon personality is nothing like that. If anyone here watched Promare you can see that sort of thing on twitter all the time from japanese fanartists who are into Galo/Lio.
