I don't know if it has been mentioned yet but could this have been related to his failure to file his taxes with the court? Maybe he's intentionally trying to stall so he can submit his 2019 taxes instead of 2018.

Yeah, I'm having a hard time believing he would just not show up. I would think a filing for continuance would have to be made though...

Here's the rules from the courts website. The research I've done says that judges and trustees have pretty wide powers and can make exceptions to these rules at their discretion. So maybe the rep from his strip mall bankruptcy lawyer could've just gone up to the trustee or someone who works for her before the meeting and asked to reschedule, but my bet is on this has been in the works for a week or two. I think he's definitely known he wasn't going to show up since before he started his 8 days in a row of gaming.

If it was rescheduled beforehand, and this is supposed to be a public meeting so that interested parties, including creditors, can keep tabs on it, why is it no one here knew it was being rescheduled? Why wasn't that information put on the King County website or whatever?

That's why I'm hoping @LyteSydeByll can find out whether or not Phil's name was actually called today during the meeting/hearing/whatever. If it wasn't actually called, then I'd say he planned the rescheduling. If they called for him a few times, got no response, and then moved on, that's a bad sign for him.

I don't see what his taxes would have to do with any of it. These are debts owed to creditors (credit cards, personal loans, etc). and mortgage companies. The back taxes he owes might affect his ability to make monthly payments but I don't think it has anything to do with all of these other debts.

Wouldn't the docket get updated if he filled it the requisite three days ago for a reschedule? I would like an update from LSB on if his contact heard Phil and his representative were called and Phil was not there. Also maybe when the docket is updated either today or tomorrow with the new date maybe it will say why it was rescheduled? (i.e. a checkbox that says either requested to rescheduled and approved or did not show)

It really does look like he either got lost or overslept and said "well fuck it, guess it'll have to be rescheduled." This wasen't even that big of a deal for this appearance. It was show up, swear underoath, and answer some questions then go fuck off.

Nah this lazy fuck didn't "work" 8 days in a row if he had already rescheduled. He definitely woke up nervous and begged his wife to let him skip it. If she didn't know already, she definitely knows now how big of a pussy he is.

All Phil had to do was show up and essentially ride the process out for 60 days or whatever to get rubberstamped.

Now he's giving his fuckup an extra 20 days for us to laugh at, for any of his creditors to decide to fuck him, or for anything else to happen all while racking up interest.

I've been thinking about this for some time but is it possible that the reason he was a no show was due to Kat itself? Lots of us have speculated that it is kind of insane and an insult of the highest degree to marry someone and immediately throw them into your bankruptcy. Is it even possible that DSP has been hiding this entire event from her? We all know he lies and schemes constantly, how far fetched of an idea is it to assume he has been keeping her in the dark and maybe today she conveniently wanted to come with him on his car ride to run those "errands". Thus, having to be a no show at his own court date(depending on if he was called or not).

@LyteSydeByll, can your person confirm whether or not Phil was actually called by the trustee or whoever was calling names?

DSP was called. The stand in for Rochelle asked for an extension. Trustee gave 3/26.

My contact said the first guy on the docket had a company too and the trustee grilled him with detailed questions about expenses and how he spent them for the company and how he paid his employees etc. So something to look forward to.

I wouldn't put it past Phil to hide it from her until the last minute, until she needed to drive him to court today.
