CG was founded on the idea of stopping an SJW gatekept establishment from stopping creators from producing quality comics free from political messaging. SGM was getting pretty bold over the past few months. I held no delusions he could “save comics” or whatever, but backing out of a project he not only committed to but actually finished and showed off his work for because some fat, autistic, troon mongoloids bullied him is the most pathetic cowardly thing I’ve ever seen. This is only going to make Doug stronger and it’s going to crush any future projects SGM was planning on doing.
Not only will many genuine fans abandon him for this, the soy-chugging speds he did this to appease are always going to remember him as “that guy who worked with a homophobe once” and permanently blacklist his work.

I wonder if this SGM nontroversy will impact upon BFB2's sales, Backerkit was last updated 19hrs ago so its hard to tell if there has been an uptick in backers. It was at 73K when backerkit was last updated, now according to IGG its at 77K. I'm going to guess this little drama will still work out in Doug's favor despite losing SGM.

According to Doug, this schism was mutual and Doug is "putting their friendship in the closet" . Doesn't at all sound like "He'll take me back eventually, He's just running with a bad crowd". I do genuinely feel sorry for Doug. And I have to wonder about how Murphy stands as a friend if he's able to bow to pressure so easily. He's the kind of guy who could probably be a big earner for the CG cult. And he wouldn't have to deal with dilating troons watching his every move. But spine seems to be in short supply on both sides of this conflict. Stand up for yourselves. Twitter is not in any way a representation of the real world. If some dickhead with radioactive hair runs up to me IRL and shouts that I'm cancelled for all and sundery to hear, I'd just laugh and walk off. Doug went on to call us "anti-Christian" SJWs, etc. Shortly thereafter, he fought with IndieCron over Brad Ashworth's HANDYMAN project, something that had absolutely nothing to do with Doug, and then he denounced ComicsGate and began taking up with other people who hated us.
But Doug is a fucking opportunist and planned all of this anyhow. He never cared about ComicsGate. He used us to fund BFB to grab EWJ GN rights.

They were looking for shit on him. Much like your cult, the hive must reach consensus before it consumes more biomass. Sean's only got himself to blame for convincing himself he wouldn't get stung whilst sleeping in a hornet's nest. He's a great creator. But he's at best fucking naive, or at worst just as opportunistic as Doug. And that may have cost him. He knew what he was doing when he started working for DC and when he started talking to CG cult members. For him to even imply otherwise is proof of either a lack of spine, or a two faced nature.

Sean can't plead ignorance when your, Zack's and Comicsgates reputation are so well known within the mainstream industry and marxist media. Don't get me wrong, I feel bad for the guy nobody should lose their job due to cancel culture, but his also a big boy who probably knew the risks when he agreed to work with Doug. Still with Dan Didio gone and Hollywood writers being brought in to handle comic books (see James Gunn and Suicide Squad) its safe to say Sean was probably on borrowed time along with all the rest of the writers at DC.
The correct response from Sean would have been to tell the demented troon to fuck off, threaten to leave DC if they pressured him to hard and continued to work with Doug while dipping his own toes into crowdfunding. After all, aren't DC and Marvel sinking ships? Thats what CG has led me to believe, so jumping ship and crowdfunding would be the correct avenue forward for SGM, I mean it seemed to work out pretty well for you. Right?
