Dobson’s doing a lot of ranting on his tumblr today. More about the Power Girl comic, some ML stuff, his usual crap....but I’m going to draw special attention to where he keeps badgering someone who doesn’t want to support Biden to support Biden because “Democrat better!”

I posted my own response to his political ranting, including what I felt was the best political advice I felt I could offer. This was the logical conclusion of Twitters attitude, once it became clear it would be a political tool and so a revenue of power rather than money, It became a terroritory to fight over.
My understanding of US politics is limited by the fact I despise all of them and am British but from what I'm seeing nominating Biden is just going to be a repeat 2016 except sexism can't be used as a rationale for the embarrsing failure. Dobson and his buddy here are doing a great warmup for act for the upcoming election.
....you ever notice how the Republican primaries tend to produce the leader they think is going to win as opposed to Democrats who seem to working on the assumption they can wheel anyone out and rely on the Republican candidate being a big enough cunt to put off the swing voters?
Replace that with the assumption that Democrats can just rely on their media cronies sliming, smearing, and slandering the Republican candidate as a big enough cunt and you've got it. The Republicans have to work for their victories and they know it. The rise of someone like Trump in retrospect was inevitable: when the media make you out to be an asshole no matter what you do, why not embrace it and work with it instead of futilely trying to fight it?This was the logical conclusion of Twitters attitude, once it became clear it would be a political tool and so a revenue of power rather than money, It became a terroritory to fight over.

The Hypocrisy of Andrew Dobson
While digging through some old journals of Dobson for an Ask I received, I came across this particular journal from 2013 in which Dobson claims that the objectification of men isn’t the same as the...hypocrisyofandrewdobson.tumblr.com
yeah, pretty much the same problem as a 6th grade fanfic writer. Some people can't help but insert themselves into characters they're writing about. This is called "Author Avatar" (for example, Brian Griffin on Family Guy is an official canon example of one for the show's creator, Seth MacFarlane). It can also become a "Canon Sue". A similar phenomenon is "Muse Abuse", another TV trope, where artists exploit their Real Life and people in it, and a standard trope for IngSoc Idpol authors/artists who lack raw talent but they "write what they know", which is, often, practically nothing. But when people like Gail Simone do it, they're "liberating" themselves, with MUH REPRESENTAYSHUN, getting their own little power trip by projecting themselves onto Batgirl or whoever is in Birds of Prey or what have you. It's a power fantasy masquerading as writing. A lot of these IngSoc Idpol writers also don't know how human interaction works (who knows, maybe they're autistic or have some other disorder that prevents them from knowing or learning how people actually behave), which is immediately evident in their writing, and one of the main reasons people object to these people attempting to hijack comics. Gail Simone started out wanting to, for whatever godawful reason, to "fix" comics and bring them up to "feminist" standards. Problem is she's obviously doing it incorrectly, as the characters she writes bear no resemblance to the characters as they were written in previous eras, which long-time readers will find objectionable, baffling, or just plain "off".Personally I think Gails biggest problems is she's probably projecting herself onto the characters which in turn makes them boring.
Who said anything about buying comics? All these SocJus assholes pirate comics when they read them at all, which is why pandering to them never, ever boosts sales. But Marvel has characters do things like die and have sex, which Dobson hates, so there's no way he reads them.Dobson claimed to have been a regular comic reader but Ima press a huge X to doubt that he read very much at all of any comics that weren't manga, which doesn't have this problem. Broke ass artists don't afford comics, mkay kids.
Firstly about Jurassic Park, I thought the dinosaurs looked better because they spent so much money on research studying how animals moved, pack dynamics and things like that, hiring experts and whatnot, basically the same thing as the original Disney animators did when they studied real life nature and animals for their animations.(I remeber watching some documentaries about the film at the time)sperging continues:

I'm just gonna go out on a limb here and posit that people are wondering if Gail Simone ever read ANY comic in her life prior to her career is because she probably writes like she has no idea who the characters are or what they do, when in all likelihood she DOES know and did read, but chooses to write them the way she writes them for woke points, because she's a rather outspoken feminist. Though it's possible she means she read them as she wrote them (lol) and since she writes for them (did she read them before? Who knows) she's like "yeah i know all about them." I think she at some point either had to have been reading comics, or jumped on a bandwagon about them because she's the one that wrote about "Women in Refrigerators", referencing Green Lantern #54, where she and a group of fans in 1999 made a website because Green Lantern Kyle Raynor's girlfriend was found dead in a refrigerator after being murdered by a bad guy, Major Force, that wanted Kyle's GL ring. To be fair, Major Force is a habitual murderer in his portrayals in the comics, and kills men as well. Apparently, portraying a villain killing a hero's female loved one is sexism, don'tcha know. Also something something depowered females never get their powers back while men usually do (?) is sexist also.
So it's no surprise here that Woke Slobson is reblogging Gail Simone, for a crumb of that sweet, sweet, pro recognition. Any bets on how long before he reblogs her by replying with one of his old, stale, idiot strawman comics?
Not that I blame Dobson because I generally don’t like them either but Dobson reads comics, I just don’t remember Dobson ever talking about reading superhero comics, he’s mentioned stuff like Tin Tin, Bone and I think Uncle Scrooge but never superhero comics.Dobson claimed to have been a regular comic reader but Ima press a huge X to doubt that he read very much at all of any comics that weren't manga, which doesn't have this problem. Broke ass artists don't afford comics, mkay kids.
So, cats/animals in general dying on the set of Koneko Monogatari (released in the US as The Adventures of Milo and Otis) is 100% urban legend. It's bullshit they read elsewhere of "my uncle works at Nintendo" tier bullshit. No joke, the source(s) is a "my uncle/father/whoever works/lives in Japan and there was controversy at the time of release but I totally can't show you the original material because it's in Japanese!" post.
Somehow, these movements remind me a lot of Simon's Cat. I would not be surprised if it turns out to be a direct copy.Dobson actually using his degree for something.
Also Tyson Hesse got to where he is because he didn’t go woke and make politics his own identity. He worked hard, improved his craft and presented himself out there. So shut the fuck up Blobbo, you’re a pussy ass bitch who don’t got the balls to present yourself.Dobbo, the only long term job you had was making shitty comics that nobody bought and making comics for Brentalfloss with a budget being enough for a single ham sandwich. Stop pretending you did anything else, you twat.

Hard work and effort is Dobson's Achilles' heel, in addition to being an SJW. While Tyson Hesse is well regarded for his work, Dobson is seen as a cautionary tale to upcoming and current artists on how not to handle criticism. He worked hard, improved his craft and presented himself out there. So shut the fuck up Blobbo, you’re a pussy ass bitch who don’t got the balls to present yourself.
I wonder now on how Tyson Hesse sees “artists” like Dobson. Opinions on him ya know.Hard work and effort is Dobson's Achilles' heel, in addition to being an SJW.
