To be honest, Kiwi Farms' offtopic isn't bad and is a lot more active than a lot of forums I was on in the early 2000s.

All of these problems could have been solved by just jettisoning all the trans posters by not catering to them exclusively, since they're so fragile that is all it would take.

What SA moderators who aren't complicit in this have long failed to grasp, and was long preached, is these aren't spontaneous outbursts of trans anger. These posters organize offsite in various discords (notably SRSOC) and then mob threads all at once. But instead of dealing with the mob al la Napoleon (grapeshot to the face), they bend the knee, time and again. The fact that entire subforums were shuttered and groups of posters run off at the behest of the same group of vocal troons astounds me. Look at the common factor in every one of those disagreements -- its the troons.

And, I cannot emphasize enough, they are loud so they seem numerous, but they're not. They're insurgents. SA is catering to a tiny, tiny portion of their posting base to the detriment of the majority. The bandaid should have simply been ripped off long ago and they should have just been banned en masse. They have no special rights over other posters, nor should they. Limp-wristed moderators like KM enabling them is how we got here. I'm not saying Fluffdaddy is worlds better, but they focus their hate on him not because he discriminates against them, but simply believes they aren't special and don't need to be catered to. That's his sin in their eyes.

No one ever seemed to put together the brigading -- how when one would take umbrage over a post in the thread (something very easy to do) a dozen more troon posters would show up almost immediately. Complaining to the mods was coordinated. None of this is an ad hoc defense of sexuality or rights -- it's targeted harassment -- ironically used as a weapon against those whom they claim are harassing them.

This isn't the government, they have not the protection of intermediate scrutiny. Just nuke them all. The fact that Rich hasn't is likely because he's afraid of a patreon dip -- but I ask you, based on their own incoherent communist ramblings, do you think any of these mentally ill outrage purveyors are employed?

They don't even have to go on a troon pogrom and specially target these freaks for extermination, as much fun as that would be. All they have to do is revoke the troon immunity from all consequences for acting like pieces of shit and just apply the same rules to troons as to everyone else. Chimp out? Ban. Harass other users? Ban. Act like a nutcase? Ban.

They'd all soon be gone and any remnant would be the ones who can behave themselves.

The mantra of SA being all you need came around long long ago, at a time when it was hard to find good alternative forums. A lot of SA users came together in the early 2000s after getting sick of the total retards inhabiting, like, Yahoo groups and such, which were full of asshole retards spamming nonsense and flipping out at one another over anything - you know, at a time long before we were all used to seeing idiots flip out online.

So, a lot of people just homesteaded on SA, and the kind of people that are still there still seem to think that SA's as good as it gets, and the rest of the internet is full of evil demons who post evil things, despite the whole world moving on without them. You have to have a certain amount of agency, and the ability to think for yourself, to realize that a long time has passed and there are so many more places to go online than just SA and its web 1.0 forums.

Anything for acceptance within their fiefdom that they dare not leave, nor even look outside and see that the world is not as hostile and dangerous as they think. When the path of least resistance is to start chugging hormones and mutilating your body, driving your already delicate mental state straight into the ground, and not just... closing your web browser, deleting your history, and putting effort into not visiting SA ever again, you're in a cult. Early on, you could discuss a whole wide variety of topics with people that wouldn't get up in arms because you didn't like their favorite game, and everyone had the same kind of sense of humor. You could poke fun at a game you liked without having some autist take it 100% dead seriously and throw a fit, derailing the thread. The mods would probate or ban people who did that, unlike a lot of other forums at the time. SA had a really nice balance with moderation at a time when everywhere was either crazy strict or had none at all. Obviously, that's not the case anymore, so anyone sane who's still on there for some reason is there because of sheer habit. It can be hard to quit a forum when you've got an unconsious habit of opening your web browser and hitting F + Enter because that autofills forums.somethingawful.com.

That QCS thread is just riddled with faggotry. Fluff is fending off passive aggressive and straight out aggressive moaning.
