Sorry, I should have posted all of them I'm just on cellular and wasn't sure how to go about it.

Type Simmons, Levi Dane. There are all of his charges and durations on there, adding them all up gets you 300 months. If I'm reading it properly, if not someone let me know!
Fish is right. If you look at the case, they got a duration departure *upwards* - meaning they went outside the guidelines in the 'longer' direction. Also, there's a marker in there that the sentences are consecutive - which keeps stacking as you go along. The numbers aren't there but that might just be a bug.

All indications so far are that he's in there, for a good long time, and has to register when he gets out. If his inmate pals let him get out. We can confirm the tentative date of release when he hits the Department of Corrections system - likely in a few days. Then we'll likely also know which institution we can drone-drop leaflets into.

In a more serious way, this Jody Newby that seems to have led the prosecution seems to legit deserve our thanks.

It now has a line saying consecutive charges, which answers my previous question. Looks like you guys are right - just wanted to be sure before celebrating :drink:

That particular line has an extra comma for each charge, so I'm not sure what it's trying to represent, but it looks consecutive to me. Maybe sentences with the same n umber of commas are served at the same time?

Full cap. I had to look it up by case number. Even looking through the list of just Simmons didn't have him. It was weird.

It's weird. The last charge has 8 commas and the first 2 charge's sentencing entries don't have any. They start getting commas at charge 5, and go up by one each entry, which is the third one he plead guilty to.

Class B felonies in Oregon are punishable at max with 10 years in prison per charge, so up to 60 years
Class C felonies are punishable at max with 5 years, so up to 20 years

Could we see a full-on 80 year sentence?
It's highly unlikely he will get the full sentence. He most likely accepted a plea agreement (Which would explain why the animal abuse charges were dropped). I'd suspect he'll get 5-10 years and I would genuinely be surprised if he served more than 5 years before being paroled.

the internet will change enough where he cant go back to his creepy old friends.
Yeah cus half of them will be dead by suicide, a quarter from getting kicked in the face for fucking the wrong horse, and the remaining quarter are either in jail, on probation, or too terrified to use the same identity because they'll get hunted down like the monsters they are

No sweat, it seems they are adding to it throughout the day. I wonder if we will ever see a docket? At the bare minimum sex offender registries usually tell you exactly what they did.

Edit: Thank you to staff for beefing up my posts, I appreciate it.

I've heard stories about chomos on some yards (especially on the East coast) riding out their time without major incident. I hope this is a different scenario. Whatever happens to him, it's impossible to feel sympathy.

My understanding is that in Oregon, it is very unlikely for a chomo to land in GenPop. Stabbing one is considered not just an esteemable act, but a duty. Every Peckerwood in the yard is going to have a boner for shanking him, and if they have a chance to and they don't, that's trouble.

Oregon has dedicated PC yards, and an entire institution (Two Rivers) for inmates at a high risk of victimization. But those places aren't safe, either. Even there, there will be tons of dudes looking to unlock the Chomo Slayer achievement.

He'll be lucky if he's merely extorted. He may spend his sentence looking over his shoulder and giving up his commissary.
Sounds like Arizona prisons. Are more American prisons going this way?

That's unintelligible to me. I assume someone who can read that or have it explained to them will be reporting on it. I just like to see the word "consecutive." I also notice they actually departed UPWARD from sentencing guidelines. They really didn't like this scumbag.

I called the court and it is 300 months consecutive.

Well that answers that. 25 years, one hopes straight with no early release.
