Hallengren: "There may be reasons to limit public gatherings"

Social Minister Lena Hallengren (S) holds a press conference in the Government Offices.

- There may be reasons to limit public gatherings, if the Public Health Authority requests it, it will happen "like this," Hallengren says, snapping his fingers.

Earlier today, the Norwegian Public Health Authority announced that all gatherings with over 500 people would be canceled.

Today, she assigns the National Board of Health and Welfare to disseminate information to all personnel within the social service's business areas.

"Do not visit your older relatives if you are ill," Hallengren said at his press conference. It is the same directive that the Public Health Authority issued earlier in the day.

So I’m hearing a lot of chatter this morning and I’m trying to vet a couple possible sources. Here’s what I’m getting for the Seattle area...another possible death at a senior facility in the Ravenna neighborhood as well as one at Boeing. If anyone gets confirmation of either please post back.

You're probably talking about the Lubavitch, who are considered non-kosher by even other Hasidim. There are several Hasidic sects but the Lubavitch are the most out there, even proselyting on street corners and generally annoying the fuck out of everyone, Jew and non-Jew alike. Hasidim in general generates a lot of lolcows with the Satmars and Lubavitch fighting and doing each other dirty. The Satmars had some kind of leadership battle that went on while other Hasidim like Netura Karta and Bobovers waiting to see who's getting the upper hand before jumping in. It usually doesn't get serious until one faction orders a hit on someone.

So several schools across the Delaware Valley have temporarily closed.

UPPER MERION, Pa. (CBS) — Several Montgomery County schools are closing for sanitizing out of an abundance of caution due to various connections to COVID-19 coronavirus cases. All Norristown and Upper Merion District schools will be closed on Tuesday.

“Viking Nation, as a precautionary measure schools will be closed on Tuesday, March 10 in order to allow us to perform ‘enhanced cleaning’ within our buildings. All after school and evening activities will also be cancelled on Tuesday. I appreciate your patience!” Upper Merion Superintendent Dr. John Toleno tweeted.

All Lower Merion School District schools will be closed Tuesday.

All Cheltenham School District schools will be closed for the rest of the week.

Simmons Elementary School in the Hatboro-Horsham School District will be closed Tuesday.

Neshaminy High School in Bucks County will be closed Tuesday after a student came in contact with a Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia doctor in King of Prussia who has coronavirus.

Buckingham Friends School in Bucks County will also be closed Tuesday.

Henderson High School in the West Chester Area School District will be closed Tuesday after a student was potentially exposed to coronavirus at the King of Prussia facility.

In Montgomery County, health officials say there are now seven presumptive positive cases of the coronavirus. That included the doctor who’s in critical condition at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital.

In New Jersey, all Trenton schools will be closed Thursday and Friday while the schools are sanitized and staff prepares instructional plans in the event that schools are closed due to the coronavirus.

So it looks like some of this is due to a sick King of Prussia doctor that kids came in contact with. Pretty bad if Cheltenham closed every school in their district. This is way too close to home for me.

Oh for fuck's sake, this is really starting to piss me off.

We're calling it the Chinese Coronavirus because it literally came from fucking China. This is getting ridiculous.

Look, I'm sick of both sides doing this. The left doesn't wanna call out China due to "muh racism", and the right doesn't wanna call out China due to "muh economy, and reelection". Fuck both of these ways of thinking.

The way I see it, we've been way too fucking easy on China thus far, and when I say China, I mean the CCP. I want to make it very clear that Chinese people themselves are the biggest victims in this disaster, and that I do not hold them responsible for this. They may have utterly disgusting hygienic practices, but the CCP has done nothing, but encourage, and lie to them about how "safe" and "healthy" what they were doing is, and now look what's happened.

The CCP needs to be held accountable, and raked across the coals. No sympathy, no excuses, nothing. If I was Trump I'd be on Xi's ass 24/7. I'd be calling him nonstop demanding to know what the fuck he did. I'd demand to know the truth, and to know just exactly what we're dealing with. I'd place as many sanctions as I could on them, and withdraw any, and all aid until they fessed up. Fucking hell, I'd blast the Mandarin version of The Plagues from The Prince of Egypt outside their capital building until they answered me.

I wouldn't care if it tanked the economy, and ruined my chances for reelection. That doesn't matter when there's this many lives at stake. It is an utter disgrace that no one outside of China has the balls to stand up to them when so many people inside China like Dr. Wenliang have died doing so.

These are the people who have lived in a dystopian hellhole their entire lives, and yet they still found the courage to stand up for what's right. Why can't anyone outside of China do the same?
